Punnat Punsri

Punnat Punsri, the Thai titan of poker and a member of Natural8’s Team Hot, has been making waves in high-stakes tournaments across the globe. With a formidable presence on the live tournament circuit, Punnat has amassed an impressive $12.7 million in tournament earnings and shows no signs of slowing down.

Punnat’s journey to fame began with modest cashes in 2014 and 2017, but it was in 2019 that he truly made his mark. He clinched victory at the KRW 1,980,000 No Limit Hold’em Championships Event at APT Seoul, pocketing over $50,000. This triumph was followed by a stellar performance at the APT Taiwan finale, where he secured 4th place, before asserting his dominance with a win in the ₫65,000,000 No Limit Hold’em High Rollers event at APT Vietnam.

Since then, Punnat’s star has only continued to rise. In 2021, he made his debut at the prestigious World Series of Poker (WSOP), cashing in four events and becoming a regular contender at PokerGo tour events in Las Vegas.

Currently ranked 25th in the Global Poker Index Ranking and sitting atop Thailand’s All-Time Money List, Punnat’s supremacy in the poker world is undeniable. With his closest competitor trailing by nearly $10 million in winnings, Punnat’s reign seems unassailable.

Punnat’s list of accolades is as impressive as it is extensive. In January 2022, he clinched back-to-back victories in two PGT High Rollers tournaments at the Venetian, earning over $250,000. He continued his winning streak with notable performances at the WSOP, finishing 3rd in the $50,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller 8-Handed event and securing a runner-up position in the $1,979 Hall of Fame Bounty event.

However, Punnat’s crowning achievement came just months later at the Triton Poker Super High Roller series in Cyprus, where he emerged victorious in the $100,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, walking away with a staggering $2,600,000. His triumphs didn’t end there, as he secured a remarkable 3rd place finish in the prestigious TRITON $250,000 + $12,500 No Limit Hold’em – Luxon Invitational during the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in London, pocketing a substantial prize of $3,107,000.

With over $8.2 million in tournament winnings in 2023 alone, Punnat shows no signs of slowing down. Following a successful WSOP campaign and his monumental win at Triton London, the poker world eagerly anticipates Punnat’s next move at the upcoming high roller series, wherever it may be.
