Punnat Punsri Captures Sixth Trident in NLH/PLO Mix; Moves to Second on All-Time Title List
The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju 2026 continues to rewrite the history books. Hot on the heels of Paul Phua ’s emotional victory in the 10th Anniversary Special, Thailand’s No. 1 Punnat Punsri has added another milestone to his staggering career.
By taking down Event #13: $30,000 NLH/PLO Mix, Punsri secured his sixth Triton title and a $504,000 payday. The win officially moves him into sole possession of second place on the all-time Triton title leaderboard, surpassing icons like Phil Ivey , Bryn Kenney , and Danny Tang , who all sit on five. Only Jason Koon , with 12, now stands ahead of him.
A Master of Two Disciplines

The $30,000 NLH/PLO Mixed event drew a field of 60 entries, creating a $1.8 million prize pool. For Punsri, the format was a return to his roots. “This event was particularly special because it’s both disciplines that I played since my university days,” Punsri remarked after his win. “I used to play hold’em and Omaha, alternating every week. To be able to win an event like this, I’m super, super proud.”
The final table was a shark tank featuring the likes of Dan Dvoress and Jesse Lonis . Punsri entered the final day with a healthy stack of 2,135,000 (43 BBs), trailing only Quan Zhou and Daniel Rezaei . After navigating a swingy three-handed battle where the chip lead swapped multiple times, Punsri eventually entered heads-up play against Zhou with a dominant 40-to-8 blind advantage.
The final hand of the tournament occurred during a No Limit Hold’em round. Zhou moved all-in pre-flop with ace-jack suited, and was well ahead of Punsri’s five-three suited. An ace-high flop gave Zhou top pair but Punsri wasn’t out of the game with his wheeldraw; with Punsri’s rail calling for a four, the dealer burned and turned the four of hearts, completing a straight for Punsri and leaving Zhou drawing dead before the river.
“I think this realisation of self improvement is really helpful not just in life at the tables, but life beyond the tables,” Punsri added, reflecting on the elite level of competition in Jeju. “I think I’ve become much more mature and a better person through poker and Triton.”
