PokerStars LIVE’s Manila Megastack 17 Main Event boasts PHP 10,000,000 (~USD 180,830) in guarantees, Day 1A runs today
Midway through the Manila Megastack 17 festival at Okada Manila, Philippines, PokerStars LIVE is pulling out all the stops with its PHP 10,000,000 (~USD 180,830) guaranteed Main Event about to hit the felt. The first of three flights begins today, December 7th with the players set to play down to 15% of the field. Qualifiers advancing to Day 2 are guaranteed a piece of the pie and a fighting chance to become this season’s biggest winner.
Each entry will set players back PHP 35,000 (~USD 630) with unlimited re-entries allowed for all starting flights. Considering this, runners can take advantage of the opportunity and try their luck in building stacks and qualifying multiple times. The Big Stack Forward format remains in play with survivors bringing their largest Day 1 stack through and receiving the minimum payout for their shortest stack.
All Main Event players start off with a 30,000 chip count and will cruise through 40 minute blind levels through to Day 2. Registration will remain open across ten levels, closing down at 20:10 to wrap up the flight entries. Final Table sees a longer 60 minute gameplay, allowing more room for postflop play and for players to put their skill set to test.
