Poker Dream 26 Malaysia Ends With Dick Son Looi’s Main Event Win, Eugene Zhou’s POS Title and Coco Zeng’s LOS
Twelve days of poker action at Genting Highlands came to a close on October 19, bringing Poker Dream 26 Malaysia to an end after a festival that welcomed familiar faces, new contenders and players traveling from across Asia and beyond. Across 60 events, the series offered a mix of championship tournaments, high rollers, bounty events and mixed games, giving players plenty of opportunities to compete for titles and build their results throughout the schedule.
The biggest story came from Malaysia's Dick Son Looi, who defeated WSOP bracelet winner Guoliang Wei heads-up to win the Main Event for MYR 685,000 (~USD 167,000). The tournament drew 1,266 entries and generated a prize pool of MYR 4,640,116 (~USD 1,135,000), surpassing its MYR 4 million guarantee.

The closing days brought more winners into the spotlight, with Chu Jen Yeoh taking the Mini Main Event, Xian Qin Lee winning the Monster Stack and Zoe Win Zachary Lim coming out on top in the High Roller Ultra Stack. Beyond the major tournaments, the festival also wrapped up with victories across several other formats, including Omaha, Open Face Chinese Poker and team competition.
There were also two series awards to settle. Eugene Zhou secured Player of the Series (POS) after winning two mixed-game events early in the schedule, while Coco Zeng claimed Lady of the Series (LPOS) with 1,766 points across six events, backed by three tournament victories.
Dick Son Looi Claims Poker Dream 26 Malaysia Main Event Title

Dick Son Looi capped off the festival with the biggest victory of his career, defeating WSOP bracelet winner Guoliang Wei heads-up to claim the Main Event title, the Gold Dragon Main Event Trophy and MYR 685,000 (~USD 167,000).
The Malaysian topped a field of 1,266 entries across ten starting flights, with the tournament generating MYR 4,640,116 (~USD 1,135,000) in prize money. Wei entered the final table as chip leader, but Looi found his way through the remaining contenders to reach heads-up and finish the job.
For Looi, the result marked a career-best live tournament score and gave the home crowd a Malaysian champion in the festival's headline event.

Poker Dream 26 Closes With More Champions

The Main Event was not the only tournament producing a notable result during the festival's final stretch. The Mini Main Event drew 559 entries, while the Monster Stack attracted 431, and the High Roller Ultra Stack brought together 99 entries. Each added another title to the closing-day results and gave players one more chance to finish their festival on a high note.
Malaysia's Chu Jen Yeoh won the Mini Main Event for MYR 121,000 (~USD 30,200), topping a field that saw Malaysians occupy all four leading positions. Xian Qin Lee followed with a Monster Stack victory worth MYR 137,500 (~USD 34,300), while Zoe Win Zachary Lim collected MYR 238,000 (~USD 59,500) for winning the High Roller Ultra Stack.

Other closing-day champions included India's Manoj Pentakota, who won the NLH Knockout Turbo, and Sathish Sadashiva Padmanabhan, who took down the PL Omaha Big Bounty Turbo. Malaysia's Kah Wei Liew and Soo Tjan Joshua Tan also finished with titles in Open Face Chinese Poker Heads-Up and the Mini High Roller, respectively. In the Teams Event, Team 11 OnlyAces BabyShark, made up of Ethan Lim Chin Yu, Tee Jia Sen, Wan Ning Hazel Tan and Yi Xuan Fong, came away with the win.
Zhou Takes Player of the Series as Zeng Wins Lady of the Series

While individual tournament trophies were decided throughout the schedule, the festival also recognized the players who put together the strongest overall campaigns.
Eugene Zhou earned Player of the Series (POS) after winning two events on consecutive days. He opened with Event #1, the 7 Card Stud (Stud, Razz) Turbo, on October 8, before returning the next day to win Event #4, the NL Single Draw Mix (A-5, 2-7) Turbo. According to Poker Dream's official tournament schedule, those early results put Zhou at the top of the standings, where he remained through the rest of the festival.

Coco Zeng took Lady of the Series with 1,766 points across six events, finishing 585 points ahead of runner-up Siew Ling Kho. Wan Ning Hazel Tan placed third with 1,130 points.
Zeng's campaign included three titles: the Ladies Event Turbo on October 12, followed by the Influencer Invitational Magic Poker event and the Mystery Bounty Turbo on October 13. The combination of those wins and her results across the six events secured her the series award.
