From August 4 to 26, the Philippine Poker Millions (PPM) makes its long-awaited debut, ushering in a bold new era for the local poker scene. Spanning over three action-packed weeks, PPM is a first-of-its-kind collaboration among several of the country’s leading poker clubs, with the frontrunner of the Philippine poker community,  Metro Card Club, serving as the central hub. Philippine Poker Millions is set to bring the thrill of international poker to the local stage, offering competitive structures and accessible buy-ins that appeal to both local and foreign players.

Our goal is to grow this into a flagship annual event, with bigger guarantees each year. By partnering with several poker rooms nationwide, we aim to expand our local reach, foster broader participation across regions, and create a truly unified poker community in the Philippines. These partnerships will help us build something big together and bring in players from all over the world.

Organized in partnership with Wild Aces Poker Sports Club, Prime Poker Club, 888 Poker Club, Masters Poker Club, Ace Poker Club, and Red Dragon Poker Room, the highly anticipated series will unfold across four distinct locations, culminating in Ortigas, Metro Manila for its final leg.

With its unprecedented scale, collaborative format, and record-breaking guarantee, the inaugural run of the PPM is set to become a defining moment in the country’s poker history, with strong ambitions of becoming a regular fixture on the national poker calendar from here on out. 

PHP 50 Million Guaranteed Philippine Poker Millions

At the heart of the series lies the PHP 50,000,000 (~USD 900,000) guaranteed PPM crown jewel, an ambitious tournament that sets a new standard for the local stage. This headline event offers multiple re-entry opportunities and features two buy-in tiers: PHP 55,000 (~US$1,000) for a full stack, and PHP 27,500 (~US$500) for a half stack, with corresponding ITM rates of 14% and 7%. Day 1 flights vary, featuring 20 to 40 minute blind levels for a well-paced structure that balances depth and accessibility.

The Main Event will be spread across a three-legged tour, beginning with the North Luzon leg at Wild Aces Poker Room in Angeles, Pampanga, just two hours away from Metro Manila. This opening stop will host a series of half-stack qualifiers at the lower PHP 27,500 buy-in level. The action then shifts to the Manila leg, where additional Day 1 flights will be available across Ace Poker Club / 9D Poker Club and Prime Poker Club Manila.

In total, over twenty Day 1 flights are scheduled, culminating with the final qualifiers and Main Event concluding rounds at the Metro Card Club in Ortigas. Players opting for the full PHP 55,000 buy-in will only be able to enter at Metro Card Club, making it the exclusive venue for those seeking the full-stack experience and the clearest path to a deep run.

Satellite action is already heating up across the country, with several players having locked in seats to the PHP 50 Million guaranteed Main Event via Metro Card Club. Among the early qualifiers are Rothmen Calderon, Edgar Asehan, Alvir Inocentes, and Jhun Mondalo, all known for recent deep finishes on the felt.

Also joining the lineup is Metro Summer Event champion Marlon Laxamana, who secured PHP 865,825 in winnings along with a coveted Main Event seat just two weeks ago following his impressive victory. Other final tablists from the same event were likewise awarded entries, adding more firepower to an already competitive field. Expect to see local crushers like Moses Saquing, Renniel, Euryd Rivera, John Constiniano, and Hernan Villa in the mix as the excitement continues to build.

Live Satellites

Live satellite opportunities are in full swing across partner venues, giving players plenty of chances to qualify for the PHP 50 Million guaranteed centerpiece. At Red Dragon Poker Room, qualifiers take place every Thursday through July 31st, each starting at 3:00 PM. With a modest PHP 2,000 (~USD 35) buy-in, at least four Main Event seats worth PHP 27,500 apiece are set to be awarded. 

Meanwhile, 9D Poker Club is running its own PPM satellite series every Wednesday through July 16th, kicking off at 4:00 PM weekly. These events feature the same PHP 2,000 (~USD 35) entry fee, with three half-stack seats guaranteed throughout the duration.

Over at Wild Aces Poker Sports Club, players can join higher-stakes qualifiers priced at PHP 5,500 (~USD 100), where one out of every five entrants will secure a PPM ticket. With a wide variety of live satellites across multiple locations and more online options to come, players from all backgrounds have ample opportunities to join what’s shaping up to be one of the biggest and most exciting poker events in Philippine history.
