ITM Bubble: The First Hurdle

At stone bubble time, Patrick Chang put his tablemate Chun Kit Hu ’s tournament life on the line in the very first hand. Hu shoved with pocket queens, and Chang called with big slick. However, the goddess Fortuna didn’t smile on Chang. With the board running clean, he was left short-stacked with just one blue chip.
Chang teetered on the brink of elimination. After one orbit, he was forced all in from the big blind. Benjamin Lingenfelder in the small blind shoved, forcing the original caller out and leaving only Chang and him in the pot. Lingenfelder’s ace-high held strong against Chang’s jack-high . With no help from the board, Chang walked out empty-handed, taking home the unwanted title of Bubble Boy for the day.

Day 2 Bubble: Securing the Bag
The intensity peaked during the Day 2 bubble, as players fought to secure their seats for the next stage. A pivotal clash saw Yen Wen Huang move all in with his snowmen, only to be called by Haochun Hsiao ’s king-queen. Huang maintained his dominance on the flop, hitting a set to crack Hsiao’s flopped pair of kings. However, the turn made Huang sweat, as Hsiao picked up a straight draw. Fortune didn’t favor Huang, as the river completed Hsiao’s straight , overtaking his set and sending him to the cash desk.
The next player to fall was Xiong Wu , who called all in with his short stack holding pocket queens, only to face Fang Chi Hsueh ’s shove with ace-high. The flop initially flipped the script for Hsueh by pairing his ace . However, the tension wasn’t over, as Wu picked up a flush draw. Unfortunately for Wu, the runout offered no help, sending him out with his ladies.

The final blow of the night came in a pot where Che Wei Chu held ace-ten, running straight into Yuexun Lee ’s pocket tens. Chu picked up a gutshot on the turn, but luck didn’t swing his way as the river bricked out, sending him out of the field—one spot shy of Day 2. Still, it was not a bad way to cap off his night, as Chu secured a payout.
That concludes the action in TMT 19 Main Event Day 1G. With 7,640 entries now accounted for, the prize pool has reached historic proportions for the TMT series. All eyes now turn to Day 2, where the survivors from all eight flights will converge to battle for the championship.
