KPC x LPT Series 2026 Day 5 Recap; Quncheng Fang Lands His Third Title
Action continued on Wednesday at the KPC x LPT Series 2026 , with another long day inside LES A Casino as the Main Event added its second and third opening flights, the High Roller played down to its Day 1 survivors, and the mixed game schedule once again showed the depth of formats on offer.
Main Event Day 1B Draws 322 Entries
Day 1B of the KPC x LPT Main Event brought in a field of 322 entries and played deep into the night. By the time the dust settled, 49 players had reached the money, with 41 advancing to Day 2. Kuo Chen Hung led the way after bagging 935,000 chips, followed by Zengxiang Chen with 788,000 and Ben Fan in third with 592,000 after a crucial late double.
The bubble stage on Day 1B produced several key moments. Chen narrowly avoided elimination after doubling up with just 6,000 chips, while Chean Shih exited on the stone bubble when his ace-deuce ran into pocket queens, locking up payouts for the remaining field. Play eventually concluded with Yankai Zhang falling one spot short of Day 2 after calling off against Hung, ending Day 1B with 41 survivors.

Later in the day, Day 1C added a further 136 entries to the Main Event, pushing the overall turnout to 839 entries across the first three opening flights. A total of 21 players cashed in the flight, with Chen Cheng finishing as the chip leader after building a stack of 544,000 by the close of play.
With three opening flights still to come, the KRW 880 million guarantee has already been surpassed, and the prize pool continues to climb as the KPC x LPT Main Event moves deeper into the festival.
