King’s Casino sets to host massive WSOPE festival
In just a week’s time, poker players from all around the globe will storm the doors of King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic for the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE). For the past two years, the WSOP has held circuit festivals at this location however this will be a first for the WSOPE. With one of the WSOP circuit events wrapping up just before the WSOPE touchdown, a massive turnout is being expected.
The WSOPE gets underway on October 19th and will run for 23 days concluding on November 10th. There are 11 bracelet events on the schedule, plus a €25,000 Super High Roller event. What many will be gunning for is most certainly the featured €10,300 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Main Event. This event initially offered a highly enticing €4M prize pool but has since been upped to a drooling €5 million guarantee. The eventual champion will be earning a minimum of €1,000,000 plus of course the championship gold bracelet.
In addition to the main feature, there are four other events that offer guaranteed prize pools; the €1,100 No Limit Hold’em Monster Stack opener and the €1,111 Little One for One Drop both offer a €500,000 guarantee; the Colossus event with a buy-in of E550 extends an eye-popping €2,000,000 guarantee; and the €111,111 High Roller for One Drop No Limit Hold’em takes the cake with the largest guarantee of €10,000,000.

King’s Casino aims to host the biggest-ever WSOPE
The latest edition of the WSOPE was held back in 2015 in Berlin, Germany. While there were 312 entries for the Main Event, it was not nearly the largest. That record is held by the WSOPE 2011 in Cannes, France where there were 593 in attendance.
For the upcoming WSOPE, the goal is to surpass that previous record. King’s Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik expressed, “We want to show all players that King’s is not only the biggest poker room in Europe, but it is also the best place for the players.”
With King’s revered as the biggest and most popular casino in the Czech Republic, they do have the reputation of being able to draw large numbers.
