K Poker Cup x King Poker Cup 2026

The global poker stage is set for a massive upgrade this summer. K Poker Cup , one of the fastest-growing live tournament series in the world, is heading back to the iconic LES A Casino in Jeju, South Korea, running from July 25 to August 4.

From August 3 to August 10, the King Poker Cup serves as the festival’s high-stakes extension, running in parallel with KPC to create a seamless two-tier schedule for players at every level.

Together, the two series span 17 days of world-class poker at one of Asia’s most casino destinations, and for players in the United States and Europe increasingly looking east for elite summer action, this is one of the most compelling stops on the global calendar.

A Brand Built on Records

For players unfamiliar with the KPC brand, the January 2026 edition provided the clearest possible statement of intent. The Main Event drew 2,030 total entries, generating a total prize pool of KRW 2,280,100,000, nearly three times the original guarantee, with 7,136 total entries recorded across the full series and a combined prize pool approaching $14 million USD. Those are numbers that compare favorably with any stop on the global circuit.

China’s Zhang Lante claimed the January Main Event title, walking away with KRW 296,250,000 and a $15,000 seat to the King Poker Cup Main Event – a unique cross-series prize that illustrates exactly how the two tiers of the festival are designed to work together.

The inaugural King Poker Cup Main Event produced its own landmark result. Tony Lin emerged victorious from a field that generated a total prize pool of $2,681,700 USD, taking home $600,700 for the title. The win capped a run of consistent high-level performances that ultimately saw Lin rise to World No. 1 on the Global Poker Index (GPI), which is one of the most significant achievements in the modern game, and a signal of exactly the caliber of competition the King Poker Cup is attracting.

Two Series, One Festival

The structure of the summer festival mirrors the model that has proven so successful in the global high-stakes circuit. K Poker Cup is the main series – a broad, diverse schedule with events catering to every level of player, from opening day tournaments to a massive guaranteed Main Event. King Poker Cup is the premium tier that follows: a concentrated, elite-level championship with high buy-ins, international fields, and the prestige of a standalone brand that is rapidly establishing itself as a landmark in the Asian poker circuit.

Together they are designed to give players of all bankrolls a reason to be in Jeju this summer, whether you’re grinding the Main Event, hunting a high roller title, or building towards a seat at the King’s Main Event.

Highlighted Events

The series kicks off with the Jeju Opening running from July 25-26 with a KRW 180 million guarantee. On the same day, the Single Day High Roller Bounty takes place on July 25 with a buy-in of KRW 2,500,000.

Taking centre stage is the KPC Main Event, running from July 29 to August 9 and featuring a massive KRW 880 million guarantee. Based on January’s numbers, where the Main Event ran to nearly three times its guarantee, expectations are high for another massive turnout.

The Single Day High Roller (Event #34) takes place on July 31 with a buy-in of KRW 3,000,000, followed by the Single Day High Roller (Event #39) on August 1 with the same buy-in of KRW 3,000,000.

K Poker Cup x King Poker Cup 2026Anchoring the K Poker Cup segment of the festival is the Mega Stack, taking place from August 2-4 with a KRW 200 million guarantee. The King Poker Cup then carries proceedings through to August 10, headlined by the USD 15,000 King’s Main Event – the showpiece that crowned Lin as World No. 1 at the inaugural edition.
