Gumz, who led Day 1A, was in the thick of the action early on Day 2. He and Dakota Anderson both held ace-king and chopped the pot after eliminating Yuichi Sumida, and later in the day Gumz rivered top pair to pick off a bluff from Yan Zhao.

Andrew Han, third in chips after Day 1D, finished second on 4,290,000. He turned a straight with ace-queen to eliminate Xiaoxiao Chen and sent out Songzhao Gu in 15th when his ace-king beat ace-queen. Aleksandras Rusinovas bagged 3,070,000 after a crucial double with ace-seven against Zhen Xu's ace-deuce.

Day 1D chip leader Martin Sedlak spiked an ace with ace-seven suited to eliminate Zixiong Jiang's pocket eights, then ended the day when his pocket kings held against Zhao's ace-jack to send her out in 9th, worth KRW 12,200,000 (~USD 9,090).

Shuai Li, 4th in the KPC High Roller, made a second final table in two days after his pocket jacks turned a full house to send out Anderson in 28th.

KPC High Roller runner-up Xu Wang also made the final eight, eliminating Iulian Blebea when his pocket kings held against queen-jack of hearts, though he returns as the shortest stack. Florian Duta (39th), Aaron Gao (41st) and Jianting Cai (58th) were among those who fell short.
