For the first half of the year, the APT returns to Taiwan for another outstanding series of
tournaments. Twelve days are allotted for the festival scheduled from March 4 to 15, 2020 at the CTP Club (Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association) in Taipei City.
Two headline events, Main Event and Championships Event, are in the front with both extending a guarantee of NT$ 6,000,000 (~US$ 197,500) and buy-ins of NT$ 33,000 (~US$ 1,100) and NT$49,500 (~US$ 1,600) respectively. For those looking to curb costs, live and online satellites (Natural8) are being held on numerous dates prior to the events.
Alongside these tournaments are 24 side events namely KMGM Monster Stack, Ladies of Poker, Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold’em, Mix NLH & PLO, 5 Card PLO and a variety of Turbo and High Rollers events.
With events running back to back, a combined NT$ 14,000,000 (~US$ 460,000) in guaranteed prizes is expected for the series.
