Edenata Takes the First Gauntlet

GOP Taipei
Rudy Edenata claimed the first GOP gauntlet of the series

The heads-up duel for the TWD 110,000 Titan Stack High Roller began with Edenata holding twice the chips of Chi Shing Man , with both already locked up for TWD 216,000 and the champion due TWD 360,000.

It lasted three hands. Edenata took a third of Man’s stack in the first, then closed it out when Man check-raised a ten-five-three flop and jammed the river holding king-three for a pair of threes and a missed flush draw. Edenata called with five-three for the flopped bottom two pair, taking the rose gauntlet and his second GOP trophy.

Yasukawa Closes Out the TWD 1M Titan Stack

GOP Taipei
Tomoya Yasukawa and his rail

A late influx of players pushed the TWD 11,000 Titan Stack to 89 entries, leaving only a small overlay on its TWD 1,000,000 guarantee. Yasukawa arrived at the final table among the leaders and finished the job in style, knocking out the last five opponents in succession before closing heads-up in three hands with ace-jack holding against king-five.

Speaking after the win, Yasukawa was still processing his first major title. “It’s like a dream,” he said.

Asked whether the final table threw up any tricky moments, he pointed to one hand in particular. “I had ace-king suited, and on the river he bet, so I called with ace-high,” he said. “He had seven-six, seven-high. Bluff catch is my skill.”

He’s no stranger to the city either. “I’ve come to Taipei maybe 10 times. I like Taipei and playing poker, so I came here with my friends.”

Trophies Elsewhere on Day 2

Tomoya Hasegawa took the TWD 38,500 Single Day High Roller for TWD 168,000, denying Rob Hollink a second title in as many days. Hollink went close again in the TWD 27,500 Turbo High Roller but finished runner-up once more, with Ming Che Yang taking it down for TWD 120,000.

Jiaqi Wu

Jiaqi Wu won the first Aphrodite’s Event of the series on home soil for TWD 27,000, ahead of Hong Kong’s Ching Ching Yuen. South Korea’s Jaesung Kang claimed the Midday Mid-Stakes for TWD 108,000, and Hong Kong’s Fuk Tak Lam won the Big O for TWD 50,440.

Late into the night, Youngwoo Han beat Takeshi Shinohara heads-up with jack-ten against ace-queen to take the Hyper Turbo for TWD 28,940, while Fumito Murayama won the Hyper Turbo High Roller for TWD 69,100.

Accumulator Flight B

The second flight of the TWD 3,000,000 guaranteed GOP Accumulator drew 40 entries, pushing the event’s total field to 74. Six players advanced, joining the five survivors from Flight A. Five more flights remain before the final day on September 24.

Boosted Guarantees for the Titan Stack Daily

The Titan Stack Daily gets an upgrade from Day 3 onwards. The buy-in rises to TWD 11,000 with the guarantee jumping to TWD 1,000,000, and the format now runs an extended 90-minute third level with late registration open until 3:45 p.m. local time. That structure holds for the remaining five editions across the rest of the festival.

Sunday’s Schedule: September 20, 2026

Day 3 brings the first two flights of the GOP High Roller at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the upgraded Titan Stack Daily, a TWD 7,700 PLO Bounty, Accumulator Flight C at 7:00 p.m., plus the returning Midday Mid-Stakes, Aphrodite’s Event, and two Hyper Turbos.
