Erwin Ng Tops TMT Championship Main Event B; Philip Wang, Mak Chun Wing, Eosoo Lee, Anson Yu Top Sides
Taiwan poker is alive and booming as seen at the Asia Poker Arena in Taipei City where the inaugural TMT Championship is in full swing. A spin-off of the beloved low stakes Taiwan Millions Tournament, this newly introduced high tier is proving just as popular with the Main Event on track to smash its USD 600,000 guarantee. This is incredibly impressive for this homegrown event.
TMT Championship
The TMTC kicked off on October 25 and will run through its final day on November 5. Due to a one day typhoon postponement, the Main Event was pushed one day later to November 1 attracting 329 on its first flight. On the following day, Flight B took the stage bringing in another 229 entries. Check out the highlights below. In addition to the main, the TMTC also crowned another batch of winners.

On the flip side, among the day’s fallen were Jereld Sam, Anton Widjaya, Hon Cheong Lee, and on the bubble Young Mi Kim. Luckily, there are still two flights to play out for them to get back in the running.
