Poker Meets Pop Culture at the Creator Poker Championship in Las Vegas
The Creator Poker Championship is set to bring together the worlds of social media and high-stakes poker when it debuts on December 18 during the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. The event, co-produced by Creator Television and the World Poker Tour (WPT) , will feature six popular online personalities competing for charity.
Among the confirmed players are King Bach, Wengie, Daphnique Springs, Evelyn Gonzalez, Billy Love, and Soy, with creator and commentator Anjali Persad providing live coverage. Each participant will represent a charitable organization, including the RuJohn Foundation, Angel by Nature, Best Friends Animal Society, Girls on the Run Las Vegas, and Bring Change to Mind.
“This is purpose-driven poker,” said Joe Ochoa, Co-founder and General Manager of Creator Television. “It’s about putting a new twist on competition and giving back while doing it.”
