CoinPoker Bans HUDs and Third-Party Tools

The new policy went live on June 9 at 17:00 UTC. Affiliates got a heads-up a day earlier, and players were notified by email as the rules took effect.

The message from CoinPoker was clear. All Heads-Up Display (HUD) and any tool that provides statistical info, player tracking, opponent analysis, or real-time help during play are now off the table. The operator says the goal is a fair, level playing field for everyone.

This isn’t a small tweak. Until now, you could run third-party trackers alongside CoinPoker’s own HUD. That door is now closed. Going forward, you only get the built-in tools baked into the client.

Why Now?

The timing makes sense. Earlier this year, CoinPoker rolled out its own integrated HUD as part of a big software overhaul. The platform now runs on tech acquired from India’s PokerBaazi, and the current client looks a lot like PokerBaazi’s product with CoinPoker branding on top.

Once you build your own HUD, banning everyone else’s is the logical next step. CoinPoker now joins GGPoker and BetRivers Poker in the US, both of which allow only their native HUD and block outside trackers.

Not every room plays it this way. iPoker still supports external HUDs alongside its built-in option. So does 888poker. France’s Winamax also lets you run third-party tools next to its native features. CoinPoker has picked the stricter path.

Why This Fits CoinPoker’s Ambassador DNA

This move isn’t out of character. CoinPoker brought on Patrick “Pads” Leonard in 2024, and game integrity has been central to his name ever since. What’s Actually Banned

The new policy goes well beyond HUDs. CoinPoker has prohibited any software, service, chart, or tool that offers gameplay assistance while the client is running.

Here’s what’s now off-limits:

• HUDs and tracking software – anything showing real-time stats or opponent data
• Opponent analysis and decision-making tools – solvers or charts used during play
• Activity concealment tools – software that hides what you’re doing
• Training and study apps – banned while the client is open, fine to use elsewhere
• Mass Data Analysis (MDA) tools – using, creating, or sharing them is prohibited
• Virtual machines and emulators – also banned
• Person-to-person coaching – no live help while CoinPoker is running

CoinPoker says these products can hand you an unfair edge and break its Terms and Conditions.

What You Can Still Use

Not everything got cut. CoinPoker still allows a limited set of table management and hotkey tools. These improve usability without giving you strategic guidance, opponent reads, or real-time help. Think convenience, not advantage.

Part of a Bigger Crackdown

This update follows a pattern. Back in November 2025, CoinPoker permanently banned several accounts after an internal investigation into seat-scripting software. The operator didn’t say how many accounts were affected, but the message was loud enough.

Now the room has gone further by removing external tracking and assistance tools entirely. If you play serious volume, the era of stacking third-party software on CoinPoker is over.
