Chih Han Lin Wins Two Titles As TMT20 Keeps Rolling
Days 2 and 3 of the Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT20) delivered another action-packed stretch at the CTP Asia Poker Arena , headlined by an impressive double victory from Chih Han Lin. While one player celebrated twice in a single day, the festival also crowned its first Trophy Plate champion and watched the popular Event #3 Kick-Off surpass its ambitious guarantee despite challenging weather conditions across Taiwan.
Chih Han Lin Claims Two Titles In One Day

One of the standout performances of the festival so far belonged to Chih Han Lin, who captured not one, but two trophies on July 9.
Lin first emerged victorious in Event #5 Battle Stack NLH (50BB) before returning to the winner’s circle later in the day by conquering Event #7 Win the Button. Winning a single tournament at a major festival is an achievement in itself, but lifting two trophies on the same day is a rare feat that immediately puts Lin among the early stars of TMT20.

Yu Ming Chiu Wins Warm-Up GiantStack

The first Trophy Plate event of the series also reached its conclusion, with Yu Ming Chiu overcoming the 934-entry field in Event #1 Warm-Up GiantStack .
Chiu earned NTD 403,900 along with a coveted 2026 TMTC Main Event ticket, becoming the first Trophy Plate champion crowned during the milestone edition of TMT.
The tournament had already made headlines after attracting 934 entries and generating a prize pool nearly 2.7 times its advertised guarantee, giving the festival a flying start. Read our Day 1 recap here.
Kick-Off Surpasses NTD 10 Million Guarantee
Another major milestone came in Event #3 Kick-Off , which doubled its guarantee from the previous edition, increasing from NTD 5,000,000 at TMT19 to NTD 10,000,000 for the milestone festival.
Despite severe weather caused by an approaching typhoon, player turnout remained exceptionally strong. The tournament officially surpassed its guarantee during Day 1F, the second-to-last starting flight, highlighting both the popularity of the event and the resilience of Taiwan’s poker community.
Among the opening flights, Ching Ku Huang produced one of the standout performances after finishing Day 1E with approximately 4.5 times the average stack, putting himself in a commanding position heading into Day 2.

Momentum Continues To Build
Just three days into the series, TMT20 has already produced record fields, memorable performances and its first Trophy Plate champion. Chih Han Lin’s double victory, Yu Ming Chiu’s Warm-Up GiantStack victory and the huge response to the Kick-Off event have set the stage for another memorable edition of Taiwan’s premier poker festival.
With more Trophy Plate events, marquee tournaments and championship races still to come, momentum continues to build as players pursue titles, championship rings and a place in TMT20 history.
