Looking for some poker action in Japan? The Ace Poker League is in the country debuting its brand-new stop. In partnership with Japan Gold Dragon, the brand brings players APL Osaka taking place at the Dojima River Forum from May 2-6, 2025.

This is one of the most attractive stops in Asia, and for good reasons. First, the festival spans just five days, making it easy for players to fit into their schedules. Second, it’s incredibly accessible for those traveling from Korea, Taipei, and Shanghai, with direct flights to Osaka that take just around two hours.

Right out of the gates, action took off in high speed as players quickly filled the tables for the APL Osaka Main Event, drawn by the enticing JP¥ 30,000,000 (~US$ 210,000) guarantee. With two starting flights on opening day and three more set for tomorrow, there is plenty of opportunity to join the chase.

In addition to the prize pool, the Main Event structure is quite attractive starting with a 50,000 stack, equivalent to 250 times the opening blinds. That’s plenty to play with especially that blinds increase at a gradual 40 minute pace (turbo flight is at 20 minute pace).
