Flight C Ends With Bin Wang Topping The Leaderboard

The $750 flight C for The Lord Poker Tour Circuit Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $700,000 concludes during level 19 with Kai Cui becoming the bubble in 17th.

A total of 210 entries tried their luck and saw Bin Wang emerge as the new overall chip leader bagging a whopping 877,000 at the end. His rise during the last levels started with the elimination of Hungarian Patrik Demus with A♦ A♥ against Demus' J♣ T♣ that got him from one of the shortest stacks to 117,000 (23 BB) followed by knocking out Anton Lu who had K♠ K♣ and Wang hit with A♦ 9♣ on the board J♠ J♥ A♣ 3♦ 3♣ scooping a hefty preflop all-in pot that got him to 402,000 (40 BB). Just a few hands after in level 18 he dominated Zhengpeng Liu with A♠ 8♥ against Liu's K♦ 8♠ , netting another 152,000 and never looked back.

Being the new table chip leader, he dominated the last two levels with extremely aggressive play, winning a lot of small to medium sized pots preflop with several orbits where he took down half the hands that were played, getting him in a commanding overall chip lead for Day 2 at the moment. His 877,000 will be worth 175BB when the blinds will be scaled back to level 14 at the start of Day 2.

Yang Liu finished with 620,000 (124 BB) and Jiaming Zhao will have 589,000 (118 BB) to his name tomorrow at 12:00.

Day 2 Coverage Of The Lord Poker Tournament Will Start At 14:00

Today's headline events will be the Final 9 of the $600,000 Opening Freeroll with $100,000 up top that had no entry fee and the last two flights of the $700,000 guaranteed TLPT Main Event CS with nine players already waiting.

Yesterday's Flight A winner Xuanzhi Zhao bagged the overall lead for 666,000 and German Martin Sedlak is in a close 2nd for 625,000. Flight B leader Pingfeng Wu has 521,000 to his name and sits currently in third overall.

Focus of the live updates will be Flight C at 14:00 with a $750 buy-in, 25,000 starting stacks worth 250 times the opening blinds and 20 minute intervals. Late registration closes at the end of level 9 and 7,5% of total entries will make it to the money.

The last of four opening flights will start at 18,00 for $2,000, with the same structure, except the deepest intervals of 40 minutes and 20% of the entries making it to the money.

The first of the high roller events - a $7,500 Single Day High Roller - is on our plate as well, starting at 14:00 with 200,000 starting stacks, granting the early birds 200 opening blinds, 40 minute intervals and late reg open until the end of level 10.
