Pingfeng Wu bags a massive lead after knocking out the last two players, taking 521,000 to Day 2 on Thursday the 15th. Far behind in 2nd place is Nevan Chang - No. 7 on Taiwan's all time money list - with 240,000 who chipped up late getting aces twice in one orbit.

The five qualifiers will be able to unpack their chips at 12:00 on Thursday the 15th of May.

For all the players still looking to qualify tomorrow, the $750 buy-in Flight C will start at 14:00 and the last chance to qualify will be Flight D at 18:00 with a $2,000 buy-in.

The board runs 3♦ A♠ 7♣ 4♣ K♣ , leaving the chip leader in front, knocking out Lin which closes out Flight B.

The dealer prefers the pair on 3♦ Q♠ 3♥ 6♥ 5♠ , knocking Wang out and takes the rest to the bubble.

The board runs A♥ 7♥ 7♠ 4♦ 9♣ , keeping Ye's kicker in play for a double up and leaving Hua Wei Lin with two big blinds.

Pingfeng Wu leads 17,000, Xuesong Wu flats in the hijack and big blind Yuzhu Wang jams 111,000 after consuming a time bank. Both contestants fold and Wang picks up another preflop pot after jamming into a raise.

Aces for Chang hold again on 5♦ 3♠ 3♦ 5♠ T♠ , knocking out Ma in 7th place.

Ye starts behind, falls further behind on Q♦ K♦ A♣ and can't catch up when the board completes T♣ and 5♥ .

After a miss deal a few hands ago where he showed aces, Xuesong Wu jams from the big blind and hijack Nevan Chang surrenders his 12,000 open. Wu shows A♠ Q♠ .

Under the gun Pingfeng Wu lays out 12,000 and picks up the blinds for a second time this orbit.

Under the gun kicks off the action with a raise to 12,000, finds a flat from +1, hijack Yi Ye ups it to 42,000 and cutoff Gary Thompson jams 121,000. No takers for the Irishman to pick up another pot after going all-in within a few hands.

Jieming Xu opens 10,000 and small blind Xuesong Wu gets ready to put in a re-raise, but without saying anything lays out a single 5k chip which is ruled a call. The flop A♠ A♥ 6♦ gets checked to the turn K♠ where Wu's 20,000 lead finds a call. The river 8♥ has Wu fire another 30,000, Xu contemplates but finds the call, losing a time bank in the process and surrenders the pot after Wu shows A♦ Q♣ .

Small blind Pingfeng Wu limps and Xuesong Wu opts to check and watches the flop fall T♦ A♣ 9♠ . Pingfeng leads 4,000 and pays up after Xuesong upped the fee to 10,000. The turn 2♦ gets checked to the river T♣ where Pingfeng forks out another 9,000 with T♥ 3♦ which gets called by Xuesong who throws it in the muck.

Lojack Gary Thompson leads 8,000, Yuzhu Wang ups it to 22,000 from the button and Thompson counters with an 80,000 four-bet-jam. Yuzhu goes in the tank for one time bank before folding and shows K♣ Q♣ . Thompson shows the 9♦ and both are laughing.

No help for He on 5♣ 8♠ 3♠ 3♣ 4♠ , leaving both players with ace-high and Xu's kicker counts.

Small blind Yi Ye leads 7,500 and Gary Thompson defends to see the flop 4♣ K♣ 7♠ where Ye's 4,000 continuation gets called to the turn K♦ and another 11,000 gets met by Thompson for the board to complete 3♦ . Ye slows down to a check, Thompson puts 65,000 in the middle and Ye goes in the tank. Emerging with a cape on, Yi Ye hero calls 3♥ 6♥ for 53,500 and receives good news when Thompson flips over queen-high Q♥ J♠ .

When the action folds to small blind Jiemeng Xu limp is announced before he calls Yunchao Li's 7,000 raise. Xu check-raises the flop A♣ Q♣ 5♦ to 16,000 and Li fills up his 8,000 c-bet to see the flop 9♥ that gets checked to the river 2♦ . Xu puts Li all-in who calls his last 24,100 with T♥ T♣ before throwing it away against Xu's set 5♠ 5♥ .

The turn 7♥ gives Lin some more outs, hitting the A♦ on the river to finish off Zhang.

Yoyo became the bubble girl after jamming 7♥ 7♦ , getting called by K♦ T♦ and the board ran 9♦ 8♥ 2♦ T♣ 9♠ , granting her $7,000 and letting the rest of the players bag their chips for the Final 9 tomorrow at 13:00.

All blanks on T♠ Q♠ 8♣ 4♠ K♣ spell the end for Liu, taking us one step closer to the final table.

Two more players have to bust before Day 1 of the TLPT Opening Freeroll comes to a close.

Today's focus will be the first two of four opening flights to the $700,000 guaranteed CS Main Event 8-Handed starting with Flight A at 14:00 that has the most affordable buy-in of $500, 25,000 starting stacks worth 250 times the opening blinds, 20 minute intervals and late registration open until the end of level 9. The game will run until 5% of the field reach the money.

Tonight at 18:00 we have Flight B on the menu for a $1,000 buy-in, 25,000 starting stacks worth 250 times the opening blinds, a more relaxed 30 minute intervals and late registration open until the end of level 9.

We will sprinkle in some updates about the TLPT Opening with no entry fee and a $600,000 guaranteed prize pool - making it one of the biggest poker freerolls to ever take place - a few times while players try to reach the Final 9 tomorrow at 13:00.

Flight C and D are happening tomorrow on the 14th with the $750 buy-in Flight C at 14:00 and the final $2,000 buy-in Flight D - offering the longest intervals of the event with 40 minutes compared to Flight C's 20 minutes.
