The line for the Freeroll registration was probably 100 players deep since before the official start at 11am this morning. The lucky 224 remaining out of 270 players that already got a seat are currently on break.
The CS Main Event And A $600,000 Freeroll Kick Off The TLPT 2025 Jeju

With tournaments in Australia and China under their belt, The Lord Poker Tournament commences their standalone journey with the inaugural TLPT 2025 Jeju from May 13 to May 22, offering a mix of affordable buy-in tournaments - Circuit Series - ranging from a massive $600,000 guaranteed FREEROLL at 11:00 on the 13th to kick things off, up to a $2,000 CS Main Event Flight D at 18:00 on the 14th.
The second part of the series are High Roller events starting at $5,000 up to the nose bleed buy-ins of the $25,000 NLH Super High Roller and the $50,000 Short Deck Super High Roller that will close out the series from the 20th to the 22nd of May for a total of $8,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
Today's focus will be the first two of four opening flights to the $700,000 guaranteed CS Main Event 8-Handed starting with Flight A at 14:00 that has the most affordable buy-in of $500, 25,000 starting stacks worth 250 times the opening blinds, 20 minute intervals and late registration open until the end of level 9. The game will run until 5% of the field reach the money.
Tonight at 18:00 we have Flight B on the menu for a $1,000 buy-in, 25,000 starting stacks worth 250 times the opening blinds, a more relaxed 30 minute intervals and late registration open until the end of level 9.
We will sprinkle in some updates about the TLPT Opening with no entry fee and a $600,000 guaranteed prize pool - making it one of the biggest poker freerolls to ever take place - a few times while players try to reach the Final 9 tomorrow at 13:00.
Flight C and D are happening tomorrow on the 14th with the $750 buy-in Flight C at 14:00 and the final $2,000 buy-in Flight D - offering the longest intervals of the event with 40 minutes compared to Flight C's 20 minutes.
