Chen Weihang towers over Day 1A field
Following twelve levels of 40 minute gameplay, the first flight of the Red Dragon Championship Event wrapped up with Chen Weihang holding a commanding lead over the 103 Day 2 qualifiers. Chen finished the day with a smashing chip count of 625,000, with second in the running, Zheng Jian only stacking 365,000. A good start for the Tour, Day 1A racked up a total of 332 entries across registration and will follow with three more heats on schedule through Thursday, August 1st. All survivors will return to Day 2 for another ten levels of 60 minute blinds with approximately 15% of the field banking a share of the prize pool.
