Another twelve levels of 40 minute gameplay wrapped up for the third flight of the Red Dragon Championship Event, adding another 421 entries to the tally. The KRW 1,680,000,000 (~USD 1,236,390) guarantee was breached early in the day following the smashing turnout across the concluded qualifiers. China's Li Zhongyao wrapped up the flight with a chip lead of 515,000 over the remaining 144 survivors, stacking just below Day 1A's Chen Weihang. All survivors will return to Day 2, August 2nd, for another ten levels of 60 minute blinds with approximately 15% of the field banking a share of the prize pool.

Mp Xue Song opened the action, followed by a raise to 16,500 from Shen Zejin behind. Xue clapped back with a four bet to 36,500 and saw Shen churn out a heftier 61,500. Xue tanks and folds.

Wang Shijun called from the small blind after Li Zhongyao put in a raise to 6,000. On board 9♠ 4♥ 8♠ K♥ , Wang check called two streets for 9,000 and 16,000, but was left unable to get to showdown after Li sent out a final 40,000 on river 4♦ .

With an open and a call in front, button fired a three bet to 17,500, followed by a cold four bet from Lin Lianzhi. All opponents fold and Lin picks up the boost.

Mp Wang Hui opened to 6,500 and was met with a three bet to 15,000 from Zhu Zeqing behind. Wang shoved all-in for 100,500 total and Zhu folds, showing A♦ Q♥ .

Mp Lu Guohao opened to 5,500 and saw big blind Cheung Ting Pong Robert commit half his stack for 32,500. Lu tanks and proceeds to jam with Cheung calling off right behind. In for a race, Lu secured the win with ace high just as the board ran 3♣ T♣ 2♦ Q♣ 4♦ .

An all-in preflop situation ensued with Lin Xinjian at risk for his 56,000 stack against Chen Guangcheng. A huge favorite, Lin cruised to victory as the board J♣ K♦ 9♣ J♦ 3♣ ran on the felt.

Following a button open, small blind Ogura Takashi shoved his 44,000 stack in and saw Lee Kuang Hung behind make the call. Board 3♥ 2♠ K♦ K♣ 3♣ missed to connect with either player, leaving Lee's ace high good for the taking.

Small blind Xue Song limp called a 10,000 raise from Tu Shou Ting behind and headed to flop J♣ 9♠ 3♠ . Xue check called for 12,000, revealing turn T♠ . Xue this time, led for 16,000 and another 18,000 on river 8♥ with Tu calling down both streets. Xue shows Q♠ T♥ and scoops it up.

With 20,500 in the middle on board 4♥ 8♣ T♣ K♥ , action was seen on Ding Yayun leading out for 7,500. Button Li Zidong bumped it up to 15,500 and called 37,000 more after Ding put in another raise. On river K♠ , Ding shoved her last 25,000 and Li folds.

Xu Jieming opened 6,000 from the button, called by big blind Xue Song. On flop J♦ 8♦ A♥ , Xue check called for 4,000 but was unable to continue after Xu sent out another 15,000 on turn 3♠ .

Utg Wang Dapeng opened to 4,500, joined by both players on the blinds on flop T♣ 5♠ T♦ . All three checked it through to turn 9♦ where Ding Yayun led for 7,500. Wang raised to 19,000, snap called by Wang. River 7♣ raked in no more bets with Ding revealing a busted flush draw A♦ 6♦ against Wang's trip tens A♠ T♥ .

Utg Zhang Mai opened to 5,000 and saw button Leong Juns come along on flop 9♦ 6♣ 8♣ . Checked to Leong, he bet 5,000 but folded shortly after Zhang snap shoved his entire stack.

A three way all-in saw Chen Weimin make the final call against two all-ins with J♦ J♥ . Unfortunately for him, his opponent tabled Q♥ Q♦ along with a short stack with A♠ 7♦, leaving Chen to pay off a chunk of his stack as a queen high board ran on the felt.

An all-in preflop situation saw Zhou Yibo commit his last 24,500 in against Tian Taimin's overcards. Looking to double up, Zhou instead headed for the rails shortly after Tian ran trips on T♠ 6♥ Q♥ Q♦ 8♠ .

Facing an early open, Chen Yun Ting moved all-in for 45,000 and saw Chen Tsung Han push behind as well. Raiser gets out of the way and the two run the board 5♣ 5♦ 3♠ 3♥ 6♦ for a split pot.

Day 1C registration is officially closed with 421 total entries recorded across nine levels of play. Today's action will conclude at the end of Level 12. Pot is now listed at a massive KRW 2,389,226,400!

The final flight, Day 1D remains open through Level 9 @ 21:30 for those still looking to qualify.

Meng Xiangnan flicked in his last 4,400, called by button Jieqong Hu. Small blind Li Jia Chi reshoved for 29,500 and was snap called by Jieqong. Tabling a monster, Jieqong sent the two packing shortly after the board ran 2♣ 6♥ A♣ J♦ 5♦ .

With 12,500 in the pot on board 5♦ 2♠ 4♠ 3♠ 5♥ , action was seen on big blind Zhu Fang Zhou with a hefty bet of 9,500. Tanaka Hideyoshi decided to slam his 39,000 in, leaving Zhu to tank fold.

Small blind Niu Zhe limp called a 4,800 raise from big blind Lin Hsuan Yu and headed to flop 8♦ 8♣ J♦ . Niu check raised to 12,000 and saw Lin complete, revealing turn 6♣ . Niu this time, check called for 22,000 and went on to check call for his remaining 81,800 after Lin shoved on river 3♠ . Lin shows K♦ K♣ and rakes it in, with Niu's J♥ 9♦ behind all the way.

Vying for 12,800 in the middle, action on flop 2♠ 3♥ 4♣ was seen with a bet of 5,000 from Huang Huang. Tsai Ting Yi fired a check raise to 12,800 and called off for his 21,200 behind after Huang moved all-in. Tsai shows A♦ 5♦ , crushing Huang's 9♣ 9♥ all the way through turn K♥ and river 8♥ .

Cutoff Lo Cheng Yen opened to 2,400 and saw both players on the blinds come along on flop J♠ 4♣ 3♣ . Lo continued for 3,000, called by Xu Zhen Lin. Turn 3♠ was checked through river 2♣ where Xu led a 10,600 bet. Lo tanks and eventually makes the call, only to muck after Xu tabled trips A♦ 3♥ .

Cutoff Jiao Wei opened to 2,500, called behind by button Xu Erdun along with the big blind. Action on flop J♠ 7♦ 8♥ was checked to Xu who bet 4,500. Jiao makes the call and check calls for another 11,000 on turn 5♠. On river 8♠ however, Jiao led all-in for Xu's 33,000 behind and Xu tank folds.

Cutoff Huang Chi Lun opened to 2,500 and was met with a 7,500 raise from Gnusaev Dmitrii right behind. Huang answered with a four bet for 14,500 yet snap folded after Gnusaev pushed all-in.

Small blind Cheng Yi Chun opened to 3,000 and called 4,500 more vs big blind Chen Jie's three bet. On flop 8♥ J♥ 8♠ , Cheng check called for 4,500 but was left unable to continue after Chen barreled another 13,000 on turn 3♦ .

Facing an open, button Yu Zhichen fired a three bet to 6,200 and saw Jiang Yingpeng complete from the big blind along with the initial raiser. On flop2s 8♦ J♣ , Jiang open shoved 15,300 and was snap called by Yu with Q♦ Q♥ . Jiang behind with Q♣ J♥ , quickly landed the advantage as the turn rolled J♦ , followed by river 7♣ .

A 7,600 pot was seen three way on flop A♦ J♥ 6♣ . Initial raiser led for 2,400 but quickly got out of the way after action followed with two more raises behind - Gnusaev Dmitrii for 7,500 and big blind Hao Chen for 20,000. Gnusaev puts in the call, peeling turn A♥ . Hao proceeds to check call for 11,500 and another 50,000 on river Q♣ , and mucked as Gnusaev revealed A♠ J♣ .

With 9,000 in the middle on flop Q♥ 7♥ A♥ , action was seen on utg Shen Shaoji with a 3,000 bet, called by a player behind. Big blind Wu Ping Chieh check raised all-in for 23,800 and was challenged by Shen. Wu at risk with K♥ J♣ against Shen's A♣ J♦ , was left in pieces shortly after the turn 7♦ and river K♦ bricked out for him.

Up against an early open and two calls, small blind Chan Cho Hin squeezed to 11,500 and picked up the pot uncontested.

Utg+1 He Jingyang defended his 2,500 open and called 5,000 more vs hijack Li Xiao. On board 5♣ 7♠ 8♠ T♠ Q♥ , He check called a 6,000 flop bet and got to showdown after action was checked all the way through. He shows 4♥ 4♣ with Li mucking behind shortly.

Already 16,000 in the pot was seen on board Q♥ J♦ K♥ K♠ . Small blind Bui Phan Duc Trong led for 20,000 and saw a raise to 45,000 from button Ma Li. Bui answered with an all-in for Ma's 30 BB behind and Ma folds. Bui shows T♠ 9♠ for a straight.

With 28,400 in the middle on board 8♥ 3♦ 7♥ T♦ , action was seen on big blind Liu Kai with a check raise all-in for 35,700. Fang Pu Yen already had 12,000 in the middle and called the 23,700 more with K♥ J♥ . Liu is ahead with J♦ J♣ , and held for the win as the river 6♦ completed the board.

Hijack Li Ao opened to 2,000, called by the cutoff. Button Yuan Xinzhao sent out a three bet to 6,800 and saw the initial raiser complete. On flop J♣ 8♦ A♣ , Li folded out of turn, shipping the pot to Yuan.

After getting a penalty, Li shoved his 23,000 in and opened 9♦ T♣ .Yuan makes the call with A♠ 8♥ and shortly lost the race after the board 9♥ Q♣ J♣ J♠ J♦ ran a full house for Li.

Utg Lu Jiawei opened to 1,600 and went on to four bet 15,000 vs big blind Yuan Yiwen. On flop 2♥ A♦ T♠ , Lu open shoved 23,500 in and merited a quick fold from his opponent.

Button Hu Jiajun opened to 2,000 and saw both players on the blinds come along on flop J♣ 2♠ 3♦ . Hu continued for 4,000, check called by Zhang Junjie. Turn 5♥ went check check, revealing river 9♥ . Checked to Hu once more, he fired a final 6,000 and Zhang puts in the final call. Hu quickly mucks and Zhang picks up the pot by default.

Cutoff Yang Zhihua sent a fourbet to 13,200 and saw Asao Hiroshi right behind complete. On flop 7♣ 7♠ K♠ , Yang shoved his remaining 12,200, called by his opponent. Yang is ahead with A♠ Q♣ against Asao's A♥ J♥ but failed to double up after the turn 2♥ and river 2♦ came for a split pot.

Utg Wang Zhiyi completed vs hijack Chen Weiming's open and saw flop 3♣ 8♥ 4♥ . Wang proceeded to check call for 2,500 yet quickly give it up after Chen barreled all-in for 20,400 on turn Q♥ .

Button Yang Qinghao defended his open vs small blind Chen Guanyu's three bet and saw flop T♣ 6♣ 9♠ . Chen continued for 7,300 and fired another 20,000 on turn K♦ with Yang calling both streets. On river 4♦ , Chen tank folded for his last 25 bb after Yang demanded for the rest of his chips.

A ton of preflop action was ahead of Li Xiao before he shoved his last 24,300 on the button with Zhao Qi right behind making the call. Board 4♠ Q♥ J♥ 4♥ 5♦ delivered no bad beats, easily earning Li a double up.

Small blind Nadmid Sanduisuren fired a three bet to 6,000 vs an open and a call, and saw caller Tang Li Li complete. On flop 8♣ 7♣ A♦ , Nadmid snap folded after Tang raised his 5,000 cbet to 20,000.

With an open and a call in front of him, big blind Shi Qizheng raised it up to 8,000, called by initial raiser Asao Hiroshi. Ning Bo behind, shoved all-in for 35,600, followed by another shove from Shi for 65,400. Asao tanks and eventually folds, leaving the two to run board 4♥ T♠ Q♣ A♦ 7♥ . Shi with two pair scoops it up, sending Ning out of the running.

Hao Zhengshan opened to 1,200, called by button Zhang Mai along with big blind Sakaguchi Katsumoto. On flop T♥ 9♣ 6♥ , Hao continued for 2,200 and was followed with a raise to 8,100 from Zhang. Only Sakaguchi makes the call, revealing turn J♥ . Both check it through to river T♠ where Sakaguchi led for 10,000 and Zhang folds.

With an open and two calls in front of him, hijack Xu Longxiang squeezed to 5,500 and saw last caller Qin Lin complete. On flop J♦ 5♥ 9♠ , Xu bet 4,000 and Qin check folds.

With an early open in front, Zhang Hongtao raised it up to 4,700 and saw small blind Lu Lin Chi four bet to 12,300. Zhang tank folds and shows A♥ K♠ . Lu returns the favor and reveals K♦ K♣ .

Facing an open and a call, big blind Tan Yubing put in a raise to 5,200 and saw both players continue to flop Q♥ 6♠ 4♣ . Tan bet 3,200, called by initial raiser Ogura Takashi. Action on Chin Wei Khong, he bumped it up to 9,800, called by both opponents. On turn 6♥ , Chin led for 15,000 and went on to call off Tan's all-in. Ogura folds and Chin shows quads 6♦ 6♣, leaving Tan's K♣ Q♠ drawing dead.

The KRW 1,680,000,000 (~USD 1,236,390) Red Dragon Championship Event guarantee has been breached with over 1,000 particpants recorded as of writing. In an announcement made by Tournament Director Fernando, all runners are invited once more to join this November's Jeju Fest, hosting 17 days of tournament action here at Landing Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea.

Hijack Wang Zhiyi opened to 900 and saw Lin Jianwei right behind put in a raise to 3,000. Wang clapped back with a heftier 9,300 yet folded shortly after Lin jammed 41,600 in. Lin shows Q♥ Q♣ .

A preflop back and forth between the two saw Wu Kai commit his entire 52,400 against Chang Chih Chieh's all-in. A huge underdog, Wu headed for the rails as the board T♦ T♥ K♦ 7♠ Q♥ ran on the felt.

Facing an open, Sun Yuan sent out a 2,600 three bet and found small blind Gong Jian fire a four bet to 9,000. Initial raiser folds and Sun shoves 54,800. Gong tanks and folds.

Utg Meng Xiangnan opened to 1,000, followed by a three bet to 2,600 from Congya Zhang right behind. Button comes along, and Meng bumps it up further to 11,000. Both continue to flop K♠ 6♠ T♦ , which saw two stacks rush to the middle - Meng with A♦ K♣ , Congya with A♠ Q♠ . In search of a spade, the turn 5♥ and river 4♣ were neither, leaving Congya to pay off half her stack.

Following two limps, small blind Xu Jieming put in a raise to 4,000 and saw Xu Yue right behind three bet to 12,000. Xu answered with a heftier 40,000 and raked in the dead money after Xu Yue tank folded.

Mp Tu Shou Ting opened the action, called by Shi Bei. Xu Jieming on the big blind fired a three bet to 3,000 and saw both opponents continue to flop J♣ 8♠ 9♦ . All three checked it through to turn Q♥ where Xu led for 4,000. Both made the call and went on to pay another 5,000 on river 6♦ . Xu shows A♥ T♦ and scoops up the pot.

Utg raised to 700, called by Chang Chih Chieh and Feng Huahuan behind. On flop A♦ Q♠ 5♥ , both players called a 1,100 cbet from the raiser and headed to turn J♦ . Raiser checked and Chang sent out 3,100. Only Feng continues to river 3♥ but is unable to get to showdown after Chang fired a final 10,000.

With 24,000 in the middle on board 6♥ A♦ K♥ 5♦ K♦ , utg raiser Wang Xinjan faced an all-in from Zhou Quan for 43,100 after sending out a hefty bet of 15,500. Wang tanks and eventually slips his hand in the muck.

A preflop back and forth between the two built a pot of 48,000 right before the dealer tabled flop 2♣ T♦ J♣ . Wu Jun open shoved all-in and saw Wong Kwok Hin Cody behind call off for his remaining 25,500. Wu shows Q♥ Q♠ , ahead of Wong's A♦ K♦ up until the runout 6♠ A♣ landed on the felt, giving Wong the double up.

With 2,600 in the pot on flop 6♣ Q♦ 5♠ , action was seen on small blind Chen Xiaoxing with a bet of 900. Zheng Xinrong right behind, raised it up to 3,000 and saw both Zhu Wei and Chen continue to turn 8♦ . All three checked it through to river 9♦ where Chen led for 7,000. Both opponents tank and fold.

Down to a short stack, Gu Xiaobin defended his button open vs small blind Zhang Jiageng's three bet and saw flop K♠ J♠ 4♦ . Zhang continued for 1,100 and called off 2,500 more after Gu moved all-in. Gu is ahead with K♣ T♥ against Zhang's A♥ T♠ and locked in the double up shortly after the runout revealed 6♣ 8♥ .

Utg Xu Jieming opened to 400 and was met with a three bet from button Bao Sheng. Small blind fired a four bet to 4,600 and saw both opponents continue to flop 3♦ 9♣ 8♣ . Xu led for 7,000, called by Bao. On turn J♥, Xu checked and Bao immediately moved all-in for 40,800. Xu tanks but eventually makes the call with 7♣ 7♥ . Opponent shows A♣ 2♣ and is sent out of the games shortly after the river T♣ completed the board.

Mp Tsai Sheng Ming opened to 600, called by the button. Small blind Asao Hiroshi sent out a 2,300 three bet and went on to call 4,700 more after Tsai put in another raise. Flop Q♣ 8♥ 4♥ was checked through to turn 2♥ where Asao led for 8,000. Tsai shoved all-in, followed by a call from Asao for his 31,300 stack. Tsai tables Q♦ Q♠ , crushing Asao's K♠ K♥ all the way through.

Cutoff Zhao Qi defended his open vs button Cheung Ting Pong Robert's 1,600 three bet and headed to flop 7♥ J♦ 2♦ . Action was checked to turn J♣ where Zhao led for 2,200. Zhao fired another 4,600 on river 9♠ and picked up the pot after Cheung threw in the fold.

With 7,800 in the middle on board 5♠ 3♥ 4♣ 9♠ , action was seen on small blind Gu Xiaobin with a bet of 3,500. Button Zhuo Dajie bumped it up to 6,000 and saw Gu continue to river A♣ . Gu bets 5,000 and calls off Zhuo's 30,800 jam, only for his pocket kings to be crushed after Zhuo tabled set 3♦ 3♠ .

Two of four qualifying rounds are already in the books with yesterday’s flight Day 1B, adding another 138 runners advancing to Day 2. Two more heats run today, August 1st, with the first one kicking off at 12 noon, followed by a shorter 30 minute gameplay at 17:00.
