The second flight for the Red Dragon Championship Event coursed through another nine levels of play and saw its 395 entry field dwindle down to 138 qualifiers remaining. China's Zhao Jiaming capped the day with the chip lead, holding down a stack of 378,000. Two more flights are set to hit the felt tomorrow, August 1st, of which will conclude the qualifying rounds. All survivors will return to Day 2 for another ten levels of 60 minute blinds with approximately 15% of the field banking a share of the prize pool.

Cong Yuxiang open shoved his last 45,000 and was met with another all-in from Zhang Zhuoqun. Dominated, Cong was quickly spared from elimination after the board tabled 8♠ J♣ 7♦ 7♠ T♦ .

Facing an open, Cai Wenqing pushed all-in for 70,000 and was called behind by Huang Yalun. At risk, Cai stood up from the table shortly after the board Q♠ 2♣ 4♥ 9♠ Q♥ ran on the felt.

Utg+2 Zhang Yang opened to 6,000, called by the cutoff along with big blind Chen Zhifeng. On board A♣ 5♦ 4♠ 7♦ Q♣ , Zhang triple barreled - 6,500, 11,000, and a final 16,000 with Chen check calling all three streets. Zhang shows 5♠ 7♠ and ships the pot.

Yu Lei shoved for his last 21,000 and saw Pak Valeriy put in the call. In for a race, the board 2♣ 9♠ 6♥ T♦ 4♠ offered no help to Lu busting him from the Championship games.

Utg Yang Chongxian opened to 6,000 and saw both players on the blinds come along on flop J♠ 3♦ A♣ . Checked to Yang, he continued for 9,000, called by both opponents. Turn A♥ was checked by all three, peeling river 8♠ . Small blind Xu Zhixin led for 25,000, called by Yang only to muck after Xu revealed A♦ J♦ .

Action was seen on big blind Liu Feng with a hefty raise of 24,000, followed by a shove from initial raiser Li Yong for 139,500 total. Liu calls for his 112,500 behind and is in for a flip for his tournament life. Board ran 6♥ 9♥ Q♦ T♣ T♥ , sending Liu out on the last level of the day.

Facing a button open, small blind Dai Linghui fired a three bet to 17,000 and saw big blind Xu Feng cold call. Initial raiser opted out and the two headed to flop Q♣ T♠ K♥ . Both players checked it through to turn 4♠ where Dai continued for 25,000. Xu put in the call and faced another 45,000 on river 9♠ . Xu tanks, and raises to 105,000. Dai quickly gives it up, shipping the pot to his opponent.

Lin Lianzhi opened and jammed his last 58,000 in vs Shao Hanyu's button three bet and saw the latter call off with A♥ T♥ . Lin ahead with A♣ J♣ , unfortunately was left in pieces after the board 7♠ T♦ K♦ 8♦ 3♥ paired up his opponent's tens.

A cooler situation saw Leng Bin at risk for his remaining 38,500 against Liu Kexue. Board 6♦ 7♦ 5♣ 5♦ 3♥ came seven high, giving Leng a much needed double up.

Han Tae Hoon opened to 5,000, called by two players behind. Button Zhu Changmin stuffed his last 54,000 in and saw Han reshove for 137,000 total. Both callers fold and the two run the board 6♠ 5♣ A♦ 4♦ 6♣ , earning Zhu the double up.

Facing an open and two calls, Pak Valeriy pulled a squeeze for 27,000 and picked up the pot uncontested.

Liu Qiaonan opened and called off for his 36,000 remaining after Chen Yuen Tuan moved all-in. Board ran 2♣ 2♥ 4♥ 9♠ 7♥ with Liu's ace good for the taking.

Utg Yu Zhichen opened to 4,000 and called 7,000 more after Qian Xiao Yang put in a raise. On flop Q♥ 3♣ T♣ , Yu check called for another 9,000 yet gave it up after Qian shoved 57,500 in on turn 6♣ .

An all-in preflop situation saw Yang Renjun open and jam 101,000 in, only to be behind Shiina Okamoto's rockets. Lucky for Yang, the runout 2♦ 3♥ 4♦ 4♣ 5♥ landed both players a straight to chop it up.

Zhang Wan opened and went on to jam 54,000 in vs Song Rui's 16,000 three bet. Song makes the call and easily picks up the stack across board A♣ 7♣ 3♥ 5♠ Q♠ .

Utg Ma Yuan limped in and saw Yin Tao right behind raise to 6,000. Cutoff bumped it up further to 17,000 and Ma followed through with a jam for 61,500 total. Yin shoves behind for 98,000, convincing the other player to get out of the way. The two run board 3♠ 7♣ 6♥ 5♦ 2♣ with Yin's better pocket pair taking it down.

Utg+1 Chen Long opened to 4,500 and was met with two all-ins - Wang Zikang for 20,000 and Zhang Nan for 92,500. Chen snap calls, covering the rest and is way ahead with his premium pair. The board 2♦ A♠ 9♦ Q♦ 6♥ however, rolled three diamonds, giving Zhang a flush to steal the win.

Day 1B registration is closed, adding on another 395 entries to the tally. Action will conclude at the end of Level 12. Two more flights - Day 1C and Day 1D are set to run tomorrow, August 1st with the first heat kicking off at 12 noon.

Utg Chan Cho Hin opened to 3,200, joined by two other players on flop K♦ 4♦ 2♠ . Chan continued for 5,000 and went on to jam vs big blind Xu Erdun's check raise. Xu calls off for 26,300 with T♦ 6♦ and is up against Chan's top pair K♥ J♥ . Needing to improve, Xu locked in the win shortly after the runout 8♣ 7♦ completed his flush.

Mp Zhuo Dajie opened to 3,500 and proceeded to jam his 50,300 stack in vs Xie Yuxiang's 12,500 three bet. Xie calls off for his 36,500 behind and heads for the exit shortly after the board rolled 3♥ K♠ J♠ 3♦ 3♣ .

Another all-in preflop situation ensued with Yamashita Yuya at risk for his last 22,800 with A♥ 8♣ , up against Lin Zhaoyi's A♦ 9♥ . Dominated, Yamashita found no salvation on board T♠ 6♠ 4♣ A♣ 7♥ , busting him out entirely.

Hijack Tanaka Daijiro opened to 4,000, joined by three other players on flop A♠ 3♥ T♥ . Tanaka continued for 6,500, check called by big blind Zhang Mingjie. On turn 7♦ , Tanaka jammed his 30,300 stack in and merited a fold shortly after.

Mp Li Youkan opened to 3,200 and was met with a 10,000 three bet from cutoff Yang Manze. Li answered with an all-in for Yang's 40,000 behind and Yang surrenders.

Wu Pingfeng committed his last 29,000 with 9♥ 9♣ and was called by raiser Lim Zong Xian with A♣ J♠ . Running a flip, the board 2♣ 2♦ A♥ Q♥ 5♣ quickly favored the overcards, sending Wu out of the qualifier.

Hijack Yu Jizheng opened to 2,500, called by a player behind. Big blind Xing Zhongjie decided to bump it up to 10,000 and was answered with another raise to 27,000 from Yu. Both opponents fold and Yu picks up the dead money.

With 26,000 in the pot on flop J♥ 9♦ 5♦ , action was seen on big blind Zhou Yiyu with a check raise all-in against Weng Weifeng's 10,000 cbet. Weng snap calls for his 25,200 behind and secures the win all the way through turn K♦ and river A♣ .

Mp Chen Wenwen opened to 2,500, called by a player behind. Button Xiao Shizi bumped it up to 8,500 with only Chen continuing to flop 3♦ 9♠ 5♠ . Xiao bet 10,000 and snap called Chen's 22,100 all-in. Chen shows K♠ J♠ against Xiao's T♥ T♣ , and locked in the double up after the turn Q♥ and river J♥ paired up her overcards.

Zhang Mingjie opened and went on to jam vs Cai Wenqing's 8,500 three bet. Cai calls off for his 31,900 behind and headed for the rails just as the board A♣ T♦ K♦ 6♠ 4♠ landed Zhang a set for the win.

Yang Yixin opened and called off Ren Yupeng's 10 BB jam for a flip. Board ran 9♥ 3♦ Q♦ 7♣ K♦ , landing Yang the nut flush to knock his opponent out.

Lu Jiaying opened to 2,500 and went on to jam 42,500 in vs Xu Yahui's 9,500 three bet. Xu snap calls and quickly sends Lu out of the games as board ran A♣ 6♥ 6♦ T♣ 7♦ .

On Table 1, action was seen on big blind Zeng Linli with a fourbet, called by the utg raiser. Chan Tat Yiu right behind shoved his 32,600 stack in and saw Zeng push likewise for 49,000. Utg gets out of the way and the two run the board 7♦ 5♣ 2♦ 4♥ 5♠ . Zeng holds for the win, busting Chan in the process.

Cutoff Zhang Lirui min opened and saw button Chi Qiao put in a raise to 5,500. Zhang clapped back with a four bet to 18,000, enough to convince Chi to lay it down.

Utg Zhang Lili opened to 2,200, called by three other players behind, revealing flop 7♣ 7♦ K♠ . Action was checked to turn A♥ where Zhang led for 5,500. Su Shanhe calls behind and goes on to shove his last 20,000 on river 4♥ . Zhang check calls with A♦ Q♥ and takes it down after Su tabled 3♥ 3♠ .

Mp Zhou Yiyu opened to 2,000, joined by three other players on flop 7♠ 5♥ 3♣ . Action was checked to Li Yong who bet 2,000, called by big blind Weng Weifeng. Back to the raiser, Zhou bumped it up to 7,000 and saw both opponents continue to turn 7♥ . All three checked it through to river 6♥ where Weng led for 5,000. Zhou put in a raise to 13,000, followed by two all-ins and a final call from Zhou. Zhou scoops it up with a straight flush, knocking both opponents out entirely.

With 15,500 in the pot on flop 3♥ 2♥ 5♠ , action was seen on Wei Yi with a bet of 7,000. Initial raiser Wang Guofeng check raised all-in and Wei calls off for his 34,200 stack. Wang shows A♦ Q♦ and is behind Wei's K♦ K♠ all the way to turn Q♣ and river K♥ .

Liu Feng opened and saw a three bet from Liu Yin behind and a cold four bet arrive in following. Liu Feng pushed all-in for 42,200 total and saw Liu Yin make the call. Up against the rockets, Liu Yin forked over half his stack as the board ran 6♦ T♠ 8♥ 4♦ 6♣ .

With two limps ahead, cutoff Ke Tian put in a raise to 3,200 and saw both opponents continue to flop A♥ 8♠ 2♣ . Checked to Ke, he bet 3,500, called by Ni Junbo. On turn 5♦ , Ni led for 10,000 and Ke folds.

Another all-in preflop situation landed with Yu Hanbo at risk for his last 21,400 against Yang Kaimin. Yang ahead, booked the loss instead as the river 2♦ 8♦ 2♣ A♣ Q♦ gave Yu two pair to take it down.

Utg Tang Li Li defended her open vs hijack Lam Yue Hin's 5,500 three bet and headed to flop T♥ 3♥ 8♥ . Lam continued for 6,000 and picked up the pot after Tang slipped her hand in the muck.

Facing an open and a call, cutoff Wang Bin fired a three bet to 6,200 and saw button Gu Wei cold call along with Wang Hui. Flop 4♦ 6♥ 2♥ was checked to Gu, who bet 12,000. Wang continues to turn K♦ yet folds after Gu shoved all-in for 36,700.

An all-in preflop situation saw Wen Ruogu commit his 25,600 stack in against Tan Junxiang. A huge favorite, Wen locked in the double up after the board Q♥ 3♥ 2♦ K♥ 7♥ felted no tens.

Facing an open and a call, big blind Xiao Xian put in a raise to 4,300 and saw only small blind Li Yong continue to flop 2♣ 7♣ 4♠ . Xiao bets 4,000 and calls off for his 7,600 behind after Li check raised all-in. Li shows A♦ 3♦ for a straight draw against Xiao's J♥ J♦ . The turn 3♣ and river 2♥ complete the board, doubling Xiao back to 56 BB.

Utg Wang Haoyu opened to 1,200, joined by two players on flop J♦ T♠ K♠ . All three check it through to turn 7♥ where Wang continued for 2,000. Opponent behind calls and big blind Sun Bin bumps it up to 8,500. Wang jams his 17,100 in and is snap called by Sun with Q♠ 9♠ . Wang at risk with A♠ 6♠ , was spared from elimination shortly after the river 3♠ filled up his flush.

Cutoff Aghayev Farhad opened the action and was met with a three bet from small blind Tang Wenxi. Aghayev four bet to 10,500 but was unable to peel a flop after Tang put in another raise to 25,000.

With 14,000 in the pot on board 8♣ Q♥ K♠ 3♠ , action was seen on Li Boyao with a lead bet of 8,000. Liu Yin calls behind and goes on to barrel 17,200 on river J♣ . Li tanks and calls yet mucked after Liu revealed K♦ J♦ .

With an open and a call in front of him, big blind Xiong Zhengsheng decided to bump it up to 6,000 and saw both opponents continue to flop 8♦ 3♦ 5♥ . Xiong bet 7,500 and was called by Zhang Li. On river 8♣ , Xiong check jammed 22,500 in after Zhang sent out 15,000. Left unable to call the 7,500 more, Zhang gives up the fight and folds.

Action began with an utg open and two calls behind. Cutoff He Jingyang bumped it up to 4,800, called by big blind Leong Juns as well as the two callers. Already 7,200 in the middle, all four players checked board 7♥ 4♣ 9♥ A♦ 6♣ to showdown where Leong showed T♥ T♦ for the win.

Utg+1 Yunfeng Sun opened to 1,200 and saw two players behind come along on flop K♦ 2♣ 8♥ . Yunfeng continued for another 1,200 and called 1,400 more after button Shi Yuechun put in a raise. On turn Q♠ , Shi bet 3,600, raised by Yunfeng to 8,700. Shi claps back for 16,600 yet folded after Yunfeng finally shoved all-in for 43,700.

With an open and a call in front of him, button Shi Xiaochun fired a three bet to 4,000 and called 5,000 more against big blind Lu Jiaying's raise. Board 7♥ 9♠ 6♦ 9♥ 3♦ was checked all the way down to the river which saw Lu lead for 35,000. Shi quickly gives it up and Lu picks up the 22 BB boost.

Utg+1 Chen Peng min opened and went on to four bet 10,000 vs Chen Ronghui's raise. On flop 3♦ 9♠ 4♣ , Chen Peng sent out another 8,000 with Chen Ronghui making a quick fold behind.

Utg+1 Murayama Fumito opened to 1,200, called by four players behind. Flop came 2♦ 2♥ Q♥ and Murayama continued for 2,500 with only Cheung Ting Fong Robert making the call. On turn 6♣ , Murayama sent out another 3,500 and picked up the pot after Cheung open folded pocket fives.

Up against an open and a three bet to 3,000 from button Xue Wenwu, big blind Takayama Tomohiro fired a raise to 8,500 and saw Xue complete. On flop J♦ T♠ J♥, both stacks rushed to the middle with Takayama tabling K♥ K♠ , crushed against Xue's A♠ J♣ . No salvation came on either turn T♥ or river 7♥ , sending Takayama out of the Main Event qualifier.

Zhang Lirui opened to 1,200 and saw button Xiao Shizi come along on flop J♦ Q♣ 2♥ . Both check it through to turn 7♣ where Zhang continued for 2,100. Xiao makes the call and calls for another 11,000 on river 6♦, only to muck after Zhang revealed A♠ Q♦ .

Utg+1 Xu Jieming opened the action and was met with a three bet to 3,500 from. big blind Zhang Lili. Xu answered with a four bet to 11,000 and Zhang tank folds.

Mp Dai Linghui opened to 1,200, called by a player behind. Button Wang Zhiyi sent out a raise to 4,500 and saw both opponents continue to flop Q♣ A♦ 3♠ . Checked to Wang, he bet 5,000 and collected the pot after finding no callers.

With 19,000 in the middle on board 3♣ Q♣ 6♥ T♦ , big blind Tong Jia Chuan led out a 6,300 bet, called by Wang Zijie behind. Tong fired another 10,000 on river 4♥ and saw Wang call down with J♦ J♥ , sending his A♥ K♥ towards the muck.

Hijack Lin Yan defended his open and called a 2,500 three bet from Zhang Zhuoqun right behind. On flop K♦ 6♣ Q♠ , Lin check called another 2,500 yet gave it up after Zhang barreled another 7,500 on turn 5♠ .

With 18,000 already in the middle, small blind Lam Yue Hin was seen firing a check raise to 15,500 after big blind Zhang Mingchen bet 6,000 on flop 4♣ 9♥ 2♥ . Zhang continues to turn T♣ but is unable to get to showdown after Lam committed another 26,300.

Gao Qingbo suffered a cooler situation right after his 8♦ 8♠ ran a full house on board J♦ 4♥ 8♥ 9♠ 9♣ . Du Tianyu with J♠ J♣ , was ahead all the way, sealing Gao's elimination right at Level 2.

With 3,100 in the middle on board 6♣ 2♠ Q♣ 5♥ , action was seen on small blind Wu Guangbiao leading for 1,000. Chan Isaac behind makes the call and is followed by a three bet to 4,000 from button Xu Bin. Both opponents continue to river 9♥ where Xu fired another 8,000. Wu folds and Chan puts in a raise to 32,500. Xu tanks and eventually makes the call, only to muck after Chan shows straight 7♥ 8♥ .

Mp Yu Zhichen opened to 1,000, called by a player behind. Button Lin Shaojun bumped it up 4,200 and tank folded for a good three minutes after Zhang four bet to 22,000.

Facing an open and a call, button Aghayev Farhad fired a three bet to 2,000 and saw both opponents continue to flop 6♣ 8♠ T♥ . Checked to Aghayev, he bet 6,000, called by utg raiser Chen Yixian. On turn Q♥ , Chen led all-in and saw Aghayev call off for his 16,300 behind. Aghayev is ahead with K♦ K♠ against Chen's 9♦ 9♠ and locked in the win just shortly after.

Utg Feng Huahuan opened to 500 and called a 1,500 three bet from button Lin Zhaoyi. On flop 5♠ 3♦ Q♦ , Feng check called for another 1,200 and headed to turn 7♦. Both players check it through to river 7♠ where Lin sent out a final 3,500. Feng makes the call with Q♠ J♠ and is good against his opponent's K♣ J♣ .

With 2,500 in the middle on board Q♣ 5♣ 2♣ 6♣ 7♣ , action was seen on utg Joseph Lee with a pot size bet. Opponent Feng Huahuan sent out a raise to 8,000 and Lee tank, folds.

Having defended his big blind, Li Feize went on to check raise flop 6♠ 7♠ 3♦ to 2,000. Initial raiser Peng Yunsong continues, but is unable to on turn 4♣ after Li fired another 2,500.

The first flight of the highly anticipated Red Dragon Poker Tour Championship Event at Landing Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea, kicked off to a good start with 332 entries turning up for the KRW 1,680,000,000 (~USD 1,236,390) guaranteed games. Three more Championship Event flights complete the schedule with the second on the list, Day 1B playing down today, July 31st. Tournament runners are geared to course through twelve 40 minute blind levels in order to advance through Day 2.
