Shimojo Triumphs in Hyper Turbo for Japan’s 11th Title

Ending past midnight, the (Event #37) Hyper Turbo ended up in an ICM deal that saw Keijiro Shimojo walk away with the trophy against Filipino Chierro de Leon.

A total of 122 entries saw the prize pool balloon to PhP520,696 (~US$9,265) and in the end, the eventual Heads-Up combatants chose to cut a deal to give Shimojo the win and PhP111,196 (~US$1,980) while de Leon accepted the runner-up finish for the adjusted payout of PhP105,000 (~US$1,870). Third place went to Lee Wen Bing of Malaysia for PhP59,500 (~US$1,060).

Once again, Japan adds to its conquests here by picking up its 11th victory and have picked up at least one trophy throughout each of the competition days thus far.
