However, his most impressive statistic is his volume; he ranks 1st on the Hong Kong Number of Cashes list, reflecting an incredible work rate and consistency across events of all buy-in levels.
Yam enjoyed a prolific 2025 season, capturing titles and making numerous final tables. In July 2025, he won the High Roller event at the Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT) in Taipei, topping the field to earn NT$ 422,700 (~$13,000).
He maintained this momentum late into the year at the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Championship Taipei in November 2025. During this series, he made multiple final tables, including a 5th place finish in the Turbo High Roller for NT$ 191,100 (~$6,090) and a 5th place finish in the Pot Limit Courchevel event, showcasing his versatility in mixed games.
