The first episode of the Triton Poker Super High Roller Jeju 2018 Cash Game brings everything to the table that poker fans have come to love and expect from televised cash games. Players sat with outrageous amounts of money in front of them, doing battle for huge pots, with insightful commentary and a sociable atmosphere during the game. Not to mention, straddles.

This episode is the first of many, with future episodes set to air on Sunday and Wednesday at 11pm EST.

Line-up

This game saw several globally recognised names, but most of the players at the table in this first episode are better known within the Asian poker community. Although, some have had results which have propelled them into the limelight a little more in recent years. This line-up included Jason Koon, Elton Tsang, Mikita Badziakouski, Sam Greenwood, and others. Almost all the players involved had close to KRW1,000,000,000 (approx.US$900,000) in front of them.

The Triton Series and its Cash Game

This latest instalment of the Triton Super High Roller Series saw a number of high buy-in events in full deck, and short deck format. Buy-ins for Triton Jeju ranged between HK$100,000 (US$12,740) and HK$2,000,000 (US$254,792), with the biggest buy-in, and subsequent 1st prize set aside for the Main Event, which was won by Mikita Badziakouski for HK$41,150,000 (US$5,255,077).

The Triton Jeju Cash Game involved many talented players, with Tom Dwan and Patrick Antonius set to appear in later episodes. At one point, there was almost US$16 million on the table, with many seven-figure pots traded between players during the course of the session. Lex Veldhuis and Randy Lew provided the commentary on what was a huge game filled with players ready to take risks.
