SCOOP 2019: Gianluca “Tankanza” Speranza wins back-to-back High Main Events and other highlights

Yes, Austria-based Italian Gianluca “Tankanza” Speranza accomplished an unbelievable result by winning the SCOOP 2019 HighMain Event after also having won the SCOOP 2018High Main Event!
After a heads-up deal with “OMGitshunt” he managed to take down the tournament, the extra $100,000 for a total score of $1,028,203, the title and probably an immovable spot in the poker record books.

Konstantin “krakukra” Maslak tops the leaderboards
Despite there being 15 (!) double champions this series, none of them ended up on top of the leaderboards.
Instead it was Russian player Konstantin “krakukra” Maslak who topped two of the three leaderboards (Low for $5,000 and High for $10,000) and so also the overall one (for $25,000). The Medium leaderboard was won by fellow countryman Maxim „ImluckNuts“ Pisarenko.

Australia Kahle ‘ROFLShove’ Burns wins two SCOOP titles
Yes, online poker in Australia is banned, but some Aussies haven’t given up the grind and still manage to crush at the virtual felt.
Kahle ‘ROFLShove’ Burns joined the group of double winners this series by taking down Event #52 High ($2,100 No Limit Hold’em) for $178K and a second title just one day after winning his first 2019 title and $312K.
“Lena900” keeps scoring
“Lena900”, the current #1 online tournament player ranked by PocketFives, scored again. He took down Event #18 High ($1,050 Omaha Eight or Better) for $27,707.18 after beating mixed-game crusher Benny ‘RunGodlike’ Glaser heads-up.
“Lena900” finished runner-up in another event and it can be agreed that he is one of the most consistent online tournament players for the past years.
