QQPK Bot Investigation: 724 Accounts Banned

Online poker room QQPK has permanently banned 724 accounts for unauthorized automated play following a major bot investigation that raised concerns about game integrity on the platform.

The announcement, published on October 13, follows a community-led investigation that identified 2,587 suspicious accounts and raised separate questions about unusual all-in results.

How Did the QQPK Bot Investigation Begin?

On October 9, a group of poker players published a detailed investigation on the Two Plus Two forum, examining a dataset covering approximately 26 million hands across 27,936 multi-table tournaments played between July 2 and October 2, 2026.

The researchers identified 2,587 accounts suspected of automated play, citing recurring statistical patterns, similar preflop decisions, and unusually consistent betting behavior.

Their analysis also highlighted significant deviations from expected equity in certain all-in situations involving these accounts.

However, the researchers acknowledged that their findings did not establish operator involvement or prove that the game's random number generator (RNG) had been manipulated.

QQPK Confirms 724 Accounts Banned for Botting

QQPK initially responded on October 10, announcing a server-side investigation into the reported activity. The operator said the 2,587 flagged accounts were under review, with withdrawals temporarily restricted as a precaution.

In its latest official statement on X, published October 13, QQPK confirmed that its Security and Risk Control teams had identified 724 accounts involved in unauthorized automated play and serious violations of its Terms of Service.

According to the operator, all 724 accounts have been permanently banned, with account access and associated balances permanently restricted.

QQPK also reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy toward bots, collusion, and unfair gaming practices, promising further improvements to its detection systems and real-time monitoring.

The announcement represents a significant enforcement action, although the status of the remaining accounts identified in the original investigation has not yet been fully clarified.

What About the QQPK RNG Allegations?

Beyond the suspected bot activity, the original investigation raised concerns about unusual all-in results.

The researchers reported that certain flagged accounts performed significantly above their expected equity in qualifying all-in situations. These findings prompted questions about whether the results could be explained by ordinary variance or other factors.

QQPK has pointed to its Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) certification for its random number generator, which received a successful evaluation in July 2025.

However, RNG certification does not independently address unauthorized automated play or resolve the statistical concerns raised by the researchers.

At this stage, the available findings do not establish that QQPK manipulated game outcomes.

QQPK previously committed to publishing a detailed investigation report by October 17, including its methodology and findings.

The operator has said it welcomes independent technical scrutiny and intends to distinguish verified findings from unresolved claims.
