Manila Super Series PHP 10M GTD Main Event

For its 22nd season, the Main Event returns with a guaranteed prize pool of PHP 10,000,000 (~USD 180,000), drawing all the attention once again. The buy-in remains budget-friendly at PHP 18,500 (~USD 320), allowing players to take multiple shots across the four starting flights. Beyond the substantial cash prizes, players will also compete for valuable entries to upcoming PokerStars events, the champion securing an attractive APPT Manila Main Event Package worth PHP 125,000. Meanwhile, the other final table finalists will each receive PHP 9,000 APPT Super Qualifier entries, all taken from the prize pool.

Looking back, the tour’s 20th stop set a remarkable milestone just a year ago, attracting a record-breaking 1,277 entries, more than doubling its advertised guarantee. Japan’s Chogo Kento emerged victorious and claimed the largest top prize in MSS history with PHP 3.5 million (~USD 61,240) in earnings.

Although the most recent edition didn’t quite match that record, the 705-entry field still comfortably exceeded the guarantee, rewarding local amateur Emmanuel Florendo with a PHP 2 million (~USD 35,660) payout. Building on this momentum, this year’s summer series promises to deliver the same thrilling action and strong competition that fans have come to expect.

In addition to the Main Event, three other highlights also take center stage, each boasting million-PHP guarantees. One of the crowd favorites, the Mystery Bounty, offers a prize pool of PHP 2,000,000 and runs concurrently with the Main Event Day 1’s. Similar to the festival headliner, the Mystery Bounty champion will receive an PHP 80,000 APPT Manila 2025 Main Event entry, while the remaining top eight players will each earn a PHP 9,000 APPT Super Qualifier entry, again drawn from the prize pool.
