The NCPC Poker Championship Danang 2025 is officially underway, drawing players from across the region to one of Vietnam’s most dynamic coastal cities. Hosted by NCPC and powered by the Danang Poker Tour (DPT), the festival opens with real momentum as international players arrive in Da Nang and settle in for eleven days of top-tier tournament action.

All events take place at the luxurious Wyndham Danang Golden Bay , a landmark venue known for its gold-themed design, panoramic views of the bay, and five-star facilities. With its spacious ballroom setup, dedicated tournament areas, and seamless player flow, the hotel provides a premium environment for both serious grinders and travelling poker enthusiasts. Between events, players can enjoy the rooftop infinity pool, on-site dining, and easy access to the city’s beaches, nightlife, and attractions.

This year’s schedule features 34 trophy events, with the full Player Guide and complete event list available here. The festival offers a balanced mix of accessible tournaments and marquee highlights, anchored by the Opener Event, the Master Challenge, and the VND 50 billion guaranteed Main Event – the centrepiece of the entire series.

Why Da Nang Continues to Attract Players

Da Nang has long been a favourite stop for travelling poker players, and it’s easy to see why. The city is one of Vietnam’s most modern and accessible coastal hubs, sitting just ten minutes from the international airport and offering a smooth, stress-free arrival for international guests. Wide boulevards, clean beaches, and a calm seaside atmosphere make it an ideal location for players settling in for an extended festival.

Between events, players can take advantage of Da Nang’s mix of natural scenery and cultural landmarks. Ba Na Hills and the iconic Golden Bridge offer one of the country’s most memorable day trips, while Hoi An Ancient Town provides a completely different pace with lantern-lit streets and riverside dining. The Marble Mountains, set just a short drive away, make for another quick escape when players want a reset between long sessions.

And then there’s the food. Da Nang’s culinary scene is a major draw of its own, featuring staples like Mi Quang, banh xeo, bun cha ca, and some of the freshest seafood in the country. Whether players want casual street dining or a quiet restaurant by the water, the options are easy and plentiful.
