Junqing Ge was the dominant force once the final table began. His pocket queens turned a set against Can Feng's two pair in 9th.

Ge's aces then made a bigger set than Sishu Peng's queens in 8th. Quang Minh Bach ended Lady Dragon champion Yue Sun's run in 7th with a set of fours.

Ge went on to send out Bach in 6th and Qiaochu Zhang in 5th.

Jakovljevic won a big pot from Yunchao Yu before eliminating him in 4th. He then doubled through Ge with pocket nines against ace-king to take the lead three-handed.

Do ended Ge's run in 3rd when his king-queen caught a queen against pocket fours.

Do and Jakovljevic traded the lead back and forth for around 90 minutes, with Jakovljevic's initial heads-up advantage slowly whittled away by Do.

On the final hand, the six on the flop paired Do's ace-six against Jakovljevic's pocket deuces, sparking a huge roar from the Vietnamese rail. Jakovljevic collected KRW 77,800,000 (~USD 57,970) as runner-up.

Do on His First Title Outside Vietnam

Do has been playing for four years, mostly in Hanoi. This was his first Red Dragon event.

"It means so much to me because it's my first championship won outside of Vietnam. Winning while representing my country with my teammates cheering me on was incredible. So proud."

He pointed to pocket jacks against ace-queen on Day 2 as the hand that set up his run. He had also played six to seven hours with Jakovljevic before heads-up.

"I understood his playing style. He played quite well, but once we were heads-up, I was extremely confident in my heads-up edge against him."

Do will play the Red Dragon Plus Championship next and plans to be at RDPT Taiwan.
