Asia’s poker calendar is getting a new addition in 2027, with Infinity Poker announcing its inaugural festival at Paradise City in Incheon, South Korea, from March 5–14.

The 10-day debut will feature KRW 800 million in guaranteed prize pools, headlined by a KRW 1.5 million Main Event carrying a KRW 600 million guarantee. Somuchpoker will also have its name on the schedule, with the first Somuchpoker Championship opening the festival with KRW 50 million guaranteed.

Incheon is the first stop in a planned calendar of three festivals across Asia in 2027. The remaining destinations and dates will be announced shortly, as the UAE-based company begins building its presence in the region.

A Tour Built With Players in Mind

Infinity Poker wants to build the kind of festival that players put back on their calendars after their first visit. A trophy would help, of course, but the founders’ plans extend beyond what happens at the final table.

The brand aims to bring recreational players together with established professionals, while giving emerging talent opportunities to compete on the international circuit. Higher buy-in events will also give experienced competitors their own tournaments to target.

CEO and co-founder Rajvi Makol knows the player’s side of that equation, having spent time competing in tournaments himself.

“Asia is home to some of the most passionate and competitive poker players in the world, and they deserve a platform that matches their ambition,” said Makol.

The intention is to build a community around the tour, giving players opportunities to connect away from the tables and renew those friendships at future stops. With further Asian festivals planned for its opening year, Infinity Poker wants that sense of familiarity to travel with it.

Paradise City Hosts the First Festival

Infinity Poker is collaborating with Paradise City and Pokerfors for its Incheon debut, with the South Korean resort hosting the opening festival.

“We are delighted to welcome new players to Paradise City through this exciting partnership. We look forward to providing an exceptional experience for our guests, strengthening industry relationships, and creating new opportunities for continued growth and collaboration,” said Patrick Sangbae Jeon, Director of Poker Marketing at JST.

Somuchpoker joins as Official Media Partner, while the festival’s partnerships also include Luxon Pay and Master of the Mindset.

The KRW 600 million guaranteed Main Event takes the headline slot, but players working with a smaller budget have another sizeable guarantee to consider. The KRW 450,000 Mini Main Event carries KRW 150 million guaranteed.

There is plenty beyond hold’em, too. Omaha and mixed-game tournaments feature throughout the schedule, alongside some less familiar formats for players willing to give their usual game a night off. Anyone who thinks two hole cards are never quite enough should find something to enter.

High rollers will also have a selection of events, including a KRW 5 million Super High Roller.

Somuchpoker Championship Opens the Festival

We usually write about the names on the trophies. This time, ours will be on one.

The first Somuchpoker Championship begins on March 5, with a KRW 600,000 buy-in and KRW 50 million guaranteed. The tournament concludes on March 6, putting it among the first opportunities to claim a title at Infinity Poker’s debut.

It marks the launch of Somuchpoker’s first flagship tournament with Infinity Poker, alongside our involvement as Official Media Partner.

Players hoping to qualify online will have more information soon, with Road to Infinity online satellite schedules set to be released shortly.

The People Behind Infinity Poker

The founding team combines experience at the tables with backgrounds that will shape how the festivals are run and presented.

Makol brings experience in real estate and ecommerce alongside his tournament background, giving him a business perspective informed by time in the player’s seat.

Fellow co-founder Savya Ansh is a filmmaker and poker player. His experience in storytelling will help shape the brand’s content and its connection with the poker audience.

Anandita Anand’s background is in luxury marketing and hospitality, with her work contributing to partnerships and the overall player experience.

The founders want to create a consistent identity across the tour, giving players something familiar to return to even when the destination changes. Infinity Poker Incheon 2027 will be the first opportunity to see those plans take shape.

Further announcements will confirm the remaining stops on the 2027 calendar, with Road to Infinity online satellite details also to follow. Players can keep up through the official Infinity Poker website or Instagram account. Enquiries can be directed to [email protected].
