GOP Taipei Main Event Final Table Set, Tsu Yun Yang Leads the Final Nine

Day 9 of The Trial of Wisdom – GOP Taipei 2026 at CTP Asia Poker Arena , sees Tsu Yun Yang lead the final nine of the GOP Taipei Main Event, with Ravn Teo and Sheng Hung Kao also among the top stacks. Soohak Eo picked up his second trophy of the series in the Single Day High Roller , while Wei Yu Hao won the Hyper Turbo .

The Mini Main Event also surpassed its guarantee with 189 entries, while today’s schedule features the final day of the Mini Main Event, the NT$1 million guaranteed Titan Stack, Kraken Stack, three more High Rollers, and several other side events.

GOP Taipei Main Event Final Table Set

The GOP Taipei Main Event attracted 520 total entries, with 73 players returning for Day 2 after making the money. The field was reduced to the final nine by the end of the day, with Tsu Yun Yang finishing on top with 13,715,000.

Yang took the lead in the final hand of the night after five-bet jamming with ace-king suited. Daeyoung Park had pocket jacks but folded, allowing Yang to add a significant pot and finish with the biggest stack. Park ended the night with 9,565,000.

Singapore’s Ravn Teo sits second with 12,385,000 after carrying the biggest stack from the five opening flights into Day 2. Sheng Hung Kao bagged 9,850,000 for third.

Kao was also responsible for bursting the final-table bubble after winning a classic flip with pocket jacks against Chia Hsiang Ko’s ace-king.

The final table features seven local players, including Chieh Wei Lee, Hungte Lee , Yu Jui Chen, Sin Ren Chen, and Yu You Ci Tsai.

The final nine were reached with 28 minutes remaining in Level 20, with blinds at 100,000/150,000/150,000. The tournament will switch to a hand-based structure for the final table instead of the usual 60-minute levels.

All nine players have locked up at least NT$342,900 (~US$ 10,800), while the champion will take home NT$3,424,400 (~US$ 108,000) and the GOP Gauntlet trophy.

Soohak Eo Wins Second GOP Trophy

Soohak Eo added another trophy to his GOP Taipei results by winning the Single Day High Roller . The event drew 19 entries and created a NT$912,000 (~US$28,690) prize pool.

Eo took the biggest share, collecting NT$399,000 (~US$12,550) after defeating Jie Zhang heads-up. It was Eo’s second trophy of the series after winning the Turbo High Roller three days earlier.

Wei Yu Hao Wins Hyper Turbo

Wei Yu Hao claimed his first international event trophy by winning the Hyper Turbo .

The Taiwan-based small-stakes grinder earned NT$40,400 (~US$1,270) for the victory. For Hao, it was another step in his tournament run and a first international title to add to his collection.

The Mini Main Event completed its four opening flights with 189 entries, pushing the tournament past its initial NT$2 million guarantee.

The final prize pool reached NT$2,721,600, with 27 players advancing to the final day. They will return today at 12:30 PM to play down to a champion.

The Main Event and Mini Main Event headline today’s action, with both tournaments set to play down to their respective champions.

The final guaranteed event of the festival is the popular Titan Stack, which carries a NT$1 million guarantee and starts at 12:30 PM.

The Kraken Stack follows at 1:00 PM, while three more High Rollers and several other side events are scheduled throughout the day as GOP Taipei heads toward the conclusion of the series.
