APPT Korea 2026: Everything You Need to Know About the Return to Incheon
A KRW 1 Billion (~USD 700,000) guaranteed Main Event headlines a twelve-day return to South Korea this September, as Paradise City Incheon prepares to host one of the biggest fields on the region's 2026 calendar.
It marks the tour's first stop in the country in seven years, since APPT Korea last ran in 2019. The Asia-Pacific Poker Tour touches down in Incheon for APPT Korea 2026, running September 3 to 14. Here is everything you need to know before heading to Paradise City.

The Main Event itself runs across four starting flights (September 10-13) before Day 2 on the 13th and a Day 3 final on the 14th, with a dedicated Mega Qualifier structure feeding seats into each flight throughout the week. Off-Felt Activities
Between sessions, Paradise City Incheon puts Seoul and the surrounding coastline within easy reach. The historic Gyeongbokgung Palace and the upscale shopping of Gangnam and Garosu-gil are both accessible day trips, while Lotte World Adventure offers a change of pace for players wanting a break from the tables. For evenings, Itaewon covers international dining and rooftop bars, while the Eulwangri-Wangsan coastline nearby offers ocean-view cafes, sea fishing at Wangsan Marina, and charcoal-grilled seafood at the local pocha street stalls.
The Venue: Paradise City Incheon
Paradise City Incheon bills itself as Northeast Asia's first premium "art-tainment" integrated resort, combining a 24/7 foreigner-exclusive casino with Michelin-level dining, an expansive art gallery housing over 3,000 works, and entertainment zones including Wonderbox and CIMER. The dedicated poker room runs a full cash game selection throughout the festival alongside the tournament schedule.
The resort sits minutes from Incheon International Airport, with the complex reachable on foot in around 15 minutes or via a 5-minute ride on the local Maglev Train. Players travelling from Seoul can reach the venue in roughly 40 minutes on the Airport Railroad Express (AREX) from Seoul Station.
Entry to the casino is restricted to foreign passport holders, and players must be at least 19 years of age with a valid passport to register for a Paradise City casino card. Dress code is casual to smart casual, and prohibited items at the poker room include backpacks, large bags, cameras, laptops, and outside food or drink.
Fresh Off a Record Manila Stop
APPT Korea 2026 arrives with the tour riding high after its biggest stop yet. Just weeks earlier, Mike Takayama defeated Florencio Campomanes heads-up to win the record-breaking APPT Manila 2026 Main Event, a 1,413-entry field that produced the largest prize pool and biggest turnout in the stop's history.
With that stop now in the books, the tour heads to Incheon looking to carry the momentum outside the Philippines and build another strong field at Paradise City.
