After a long Day 2 grind, China's Wang Shengyong emerged victorious over the 512 entry field and takes with him the KRW 132,654,000 top prize, two trophies (Red Dragon Poker Tour and Korea Poker Cup), and an exclusive Red Dragon Winner's Jacket. Wang navigated the final table with ease and precision and took down pot after pot successfully. An impressive performance indeed, Wang managed to deliver the last four eliminations to eventually secure the inaugural KPC Baby Dragon title and claim the lion's share of the KRW 649,728,000 prize pool.

Wang Shengyong open shoved and saw Chen Wenwen snap call for her last 2,500,000. Dominated, Chen settled for a runner up finish after the board A♥ 7♣ 3♥ 4♠ 7♥ sealed her elimination.

Wang Shengyong completed from the big blind and proceeded to check call 300,000 on flop 2♣ 5♣ K♣ . Turn 5♦ went check check, revealing river K♦ . Checked to Chen Wenwen once more, she fired 700,000 and bagged the loss after Wang's queen high came into play.

Chen Wenwen opened to 550,000, called by Wang Shengyong. On flop 3♠ 3♣ 9♠ , Wang check raised to 700,000 and Chen continues to turn 9♥ . Both players check it through to river 7♥ where Wang led for 1,200,000. Chen makes the call and mucks after Wang reveals two pair.

KPC Baby Dragon Special Event is now down to heads up with Chen Wenwen holding a slight lead over Wang Shengyong. The eventual champion will take home the KRW 132,654,000 listed top prize, two trophies (Red Dragon Poker Tour and Korea Poker Cup), and an exclusive Red Dragon Winner's Jacket.

Wang Shengyong opened to 600,000 and saw Chen Jiahao commit his last 675,000. Chen Wenwen joins the action and checked board 3♦ 7♦ 4♣ 9♦ 4♥ down all the way. Wang's ace high stands good for the taking, knocking out Chen Jiahao in contention.

Cao Tingjia defended his big blind vs utg Wang Shengyong's open and got his 1,800,000 stack in on flop 5♥ T♣ 9♥ . At risk with K♥ T♦ against Wang's J♠ 8♠ , the turn Q♥ instantly crushed Cao's hopes with the river 2♣ completing the board for his elimination.

Chen Jiahao defended his big blind vs Cao Tingjia's button open and went on to lead triple barrel bluff on board 7♠ 7♦ 5♦ 8♠ K♣ for 200,000, 600,000, and a final all-in. Cao called behind two streets yet quickly gave it up after Chen demanded for his last 8 BB.

Dwindled down to 3 BB, Guo Biao flicked in his last 625,000 and was called by big blind Wang Shengyong. Though slightly ahead with ace high, Guo headed for the exit shortly after the board 8♥ J♣ K♣ 6♣ K♥ ran a flush for Wang.

Cao Tingjia open shoved 2,000,000 in and saw Ge Yunqing call off for his 1,100,000 stack. A good spot for Ge, the board J♠ 9♦ 2♦ 4♦ 5♠ instead, bid his chance of a victory goodbye after it ran a straight for his opponent.

Guo Biao opened to 300,000 and saw two stacks come into the middle - Chen Wenwen for 975,000 and Ge Yunqing for 1,900,000. Guo makes the final call and the three run the board 5♥ K♦ J♠ A♣ 3♦ . Chen's top set secures the double up while Ge takes the side pot.

Cutoff Guo Biao opened to 300,000 and saw Wang Shengyong complete from the big blind. Both players checked flop J♠ 9♠ 7♥ through to turn Q♠ . Guo this time, sent out 300,000 and went on to pull the trigger on river Q♥ . Wang called one street but was left in no place to call for his tournament life by the final bet.

Guo Biao opened to 250,000 and was met with a 1,000,000 three bet behind from Cao Tingjia. Guo shoved his stack in and Cao called for his remaining 200,000. Board 8♦ 5♣ 4♦ 7♦ J♥ missed to connect with either player, doubling Cao for his better ace.

Chen Wenwen opened to 250,000 and happily called the 275,000 more after Han Tae Hoon stuffed his short stack in the middle. Drawing slim, Han headed for the exit not long after the board rolled T♥ Q♦ 4♥ 6♠ A♥ .

Zhang Rong shoved his last 700,000 and was called behind by Chen Wenwen. At risk, Zhang found no help on board A♠ 4♠ 2♣ J♣ T♠ , sending him out of the final table games.

Having lost a chunk just the previous hand, Chen Jiahao pushed all-in for 825,000 vs Han Tae Hoon's open and found himself in for a flip. This time around, Chen was on the winning side with his overcards hitting the board Q♠ 8♥ 5♦ 2♦ 3♠ .

Chen Wenwen pushed all-in for her remaining 400,000 and was called by Chen Jiahao from the big blind. Needing to improve, Wenwen was glad to pair up on river 3♠ 9♠ A♠ Q♦ 7♦ for the double up.

Han Tae Hoon opened to 200,000 and was priced in to call 450,000 more vs Ge Yunqing's shove. Looking for an ace, the board 6♥ 9♠ 6♣ K♠ 5♣ spared none, leaving Han to chip back down.

Zhang Rong opened to 200,000 and called off vs Han Tae Hoon's 1,000,000 jam. A crucial flip, Han survives as his pocket pair held on board 8♥ 4♠ 2♥ 4♣ 5♦ .

Guo Biao opened to 150,000 and called off Patrik Demus' 885,000 all-in. Dominated, Guo quickly turned the tables after the board 2♣ Q♥ 6♣ Q♦ 7♠ rolled him trip queens to take it down.

Mp Wang Shengyong opened to 150,000, called behind by Guo Biao. On flop 4♠ 7♥ 6♥ , Wang continued for 125,000 and headed to turn Q♦ after Guo put in the call. Wang this time, check called 300,000 from his opponent and got to showdown after no more bets were collected on river K♠ . Wang takes it down with his higher pocket pair.

Small blind Guo Biao limp called a minraise from Zhang Rong behind and went on to see flop 8♦ 3♥ 9♠ . Both players check it through to turn K♥ where Guo check called for 100,000. River T♦ welcomed no more bets, revealing Zhang's K♦ J♣ for the win.

Hijack Guo Biao opened to 125,000 and saw the cutoff and big blind Demus Patrik come along on flop J♠ 9♣ K♦ . All three check it through to turn T♠ where Guo fired 125,000. Demus makes the call and gets to showdown after no more bets went in on river 9♦ .

Mp Cao Tingjia opened to 120,000 with A♦ Q♥ yet quickly gave it up after small blind Guo Biao fired a 400,000 three bet with K♦ 8♦.

Celina Lin defended from the big blind and led all-in for 215,000 on flop 7♥ 5♥ 9♠ . Raiser Guo Biao makes the call with A♠ J♥ and needs to pair up against Lin's 9♣ T♦ . The turn J♦ quickly gave Guo the advantage with the river 6♥ sealing his win, and the final nine set.

Cao Tingjia opened to 100,000 and saw Chen Wenwen fire a three bet to 325,000. Cao puts her all-in and Chen snap calls for her remaining 260,000. At risk, Chen dodged elimination after the board Q♠ T♦ 5♦ 9♠ J♥ rivered her a straight to survive through.

Button Zhang Rong defended his open and called a 250,000 three bet from small blind Cao Tingjia. Cao checked flop 2♣ T♥ 3♠ , and saw Zhang move all-in. Cao tanks and calls off for his 1,125,000 behind with A♣ T♦ . Cao is ahead against Zhang's J♦ T♠ and locked in the win after the turn T♣ and river 7♠ completed the board.

Ge Yunqing open shoved from the button and saw Andrew Leathem call off for his lesser 360,000 stack. In for a race, Ge's ace high held on board 8♥ T♦ 5♥ 2♦ 3♦ to send his opponent packing.

Cutoff Zhang Rong opened to 80,000 and saw both players on the blinds come along on flop J♣ A♦ 7♥ . All three check it through to turn A♣ where big blind Celina Lin led for 50,000. Zhang bumps it up to 250,000 and takes the pot down after seeing no callers.

Chen Weihang flicked in his last 3 BB and was called behind by Zhang Rong along with big blind Guo Biao. The two go on to check board 2♥ T♣ Q♠ 8♥ K♣ through to showdown where Guo eventually picked up the pot with top pair.

With an open and a call in front of him, Qidong He shoved all-in for 425,000 and was called by original raiser Zhang Rong. Running a flip, Zhang's pocket pair held on board 3♥ 3♦ 9♦ 6♦ K♦ and sent Qidong packing shortly after.

Xiaosheng Zheng opened and four bet jammed his 640,000 in vs Zhang Rong's 200,000 raise. Zhang makes the call and Xiaosheng is in for a flip for his tournament life. Board came 9♣ 3♣ 5♠ T♥ 6♠ , leaving Zhang to pick up the pot with his pocket pair.

Liu Feng shoved all-in for 330,000 and was called by Chen Wenwen with a pocket pair. In need of an ace, the ten high board 6♠ 2♥ T♠ 4♥ 5♣ felted none as Liu headed for the rails.

Cao Tingjia defended his big blind vs cutoff Xiaosheng Zheng's open and saw flop 7♠ 6♠ Q♥ . Both players checked it through to turn 4♥ where Cao led for 35,000. Xiaosheng continues but gives it up after Cao fired another 60,000 on river 3♠ .

Facing an utg open from Xiaosheng Zheng, button Wu Luyao shoved all-in for 145,000 and was called by both big blind Zhang Rong and the raiser. Board 2♦ 4♣ 2♣ T♦ A♣ was checked to showdown where Zhang showed A♥ J♦ to rake in the pot.

Li Lei pushed all-in for 260,000 and saw Guo Biao behind make the call. A huge favorite, Guo easily bagged the win as board rolled J♦ 2♥ 2♦ K♦ J♣ .

Utg+1 Zhu Ning defended his open vs a 75,000 three bet from Chen Jiahao and headed to flop 3♥ K♠ 6♠ . Chen continued for 60,000 and called off Zhu's all-in for 120,000 more. Zhu shows set 6♦ 6♥ up against Chen's flush draw A♠ J♠ . The turn T♠ puts Chen ahead up until the river 6♣ ran quads for the player at risk.

Hijack Guo Meng opened to 30,000 and was met with a three bet to 90,000 from small blind Zhang Rong. Guo stuffs her 310,000 stack in, slightly covering her opponent and Zhang folds.

Jargalsaikhan Nyam Ochir opened to 30,000 and was priced in to call Sun Zeyu's 55,000 jam. In for a flip, Sun quickly paired up on board 7♣ 5♣ 9♦ A♥ 3♠ to land the double up.

A blind vs blind battle saw Ma Li at risk for her remaining 99,000 against Li Shankui behind. Running a race, Ma dodged elimination after the river 3♣ 6♣ 9♣ 4♦ A♥ landed her top pair.

Li Jia Chi flicked in her last 50,000 and saw Liu Feng make the call. Dominated, Li exited shortly after the board T♠ 8♣ 5♠ 8♦ Q♣ gave his opponent a higher two pair.

Facing an utg open, Yang Ren Jun shoved his last 134,000 in and saw Celina Lin cold jam with her big stack. Raiser gets out of the way and the two run the board 7♣ 7♥ K♦ 2♥ Q♥ . Yang easily wins and bags the double up.

Button Wu Luyao opened to 26,000, joined by big blind Li Shankui on flop 2♥ 9♥ 8♣ . Both check it through to turn 6♥ where Wu continued for 38,000. Li check calls and pays off another 77,000 on river Q♣ , only to muck after Wu revealed two pair Q♥ 6♠ .

Heng Qiao shoved for 107,000 and faced another all-in behind from Liu Feng. A huge favorite, Heng cruised to victory as the board K♥ A♥ 5♣ 5♠ 6♣ faded the last two nines.

A three way all-in saw Yu Yunchao make the final call for his healthy stack after Xiaosheng Zheng reraised all-in. Up against overcards, Xiaosheng's pocket pair held on board 3♦ 5♣ 2♥ 5♦ T♦ , earning him the massive pot as he storms to the lead.

A blind vs blind battle saw both short stacks rush to the middle with Yang Ren Jun ahead against Zhang Yingxi. Board A♦ 2♥ 8♦ 8♠ 5♠ run on the board and Yang scores the double.

Peng Ke open shoved 124,000 and found Li You Kan behind likewise shoving 180,000 in. Up against a monster, Peng quickly gained the advantage on 2♠ A♦ 6♣ 8♠ T♦ and rakes it in with top pair.

Facing an utg open, Wang Weinan stuffed his 54,000 stack in and was met with another all-in behind from Andrew Leathem. Original raiser gets out of the way and the two run the board 4♥ 5♣ 4♣ A♣ 9♥ , sending Wang out of the KPC Baby Dragon games.

On the same table, another all-in preflop battle ensued with Shen Kai covering both stacks from the button. Board ran 9♥ 5♣ 8♣ A♠ Q♥ , allowing Xin to recover his previous loss.

Another all-in preflop battle between Ge Yunqing and Xin Yuan landed on the table with Ge at risk with his pocket pair. Happily getting it in, Ge bagged the double up shortly after the board 3♣ Q♣ 9♦ 6♠ Q♥ ran on the felt.

Zhang Yingxi open shoved 10 BB in and saw Zhang Lirui commit his lesser 5 BB stack behind. Tabling the same hand, the two split the pot on board T♣ T♠ 8♥ 9♠ 7♦ .

Wang Wuyi flicked in his last 31,000 vs Celina Lin's utg open and found himself dominated. Luckily, the board 6♦ 4♦ 3♥ 5♦ A♦ ran four diamonds to spare him from elimination.

Day two of the Red Dragon Poker Tour festivities at Landing Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea quickly picked up the pace and welcomed a full house just in time for the last two flights of the KPC Baby Dragon Special Event. With three heats in the books, a total of 512 entries for the opening highlight were recorded, generating a prize pool of KRW 670,464,000 (~USD 484,130). Each flight played down to 15% of the field and saw a combined 78 players advance to Day 2.
