Hand #17: Under the gun Baofeng Zhang min-raises, small blind Qingshan Yao jams 170,000, big blind King Lun Shih calls and Zhang does the same. The board A♥ 7♦ 3♥ J♦ 5♥ receives a friendly check down from the two big stacks and Yao's Q♥ 5♣ is good enough against Zhang's Q♠ 8♠ and Shih's 6♠ 3♦ .

Hand #7: Baofeng Zhang opens 125,000 from the hijack with 8♠ 3♠ and finds no callers.

Hand #8: Zhang lays out 125,000 again from +2 and big blind Qingshan Yao defends to lay eyes on the flop 3♥ 8♦ 2♣ where he calls Zhangs 100,000 c-bet before folding to a 250,000 second barrel on the 7♥ turn.

Hand #3: Cutoff Qingshan Yao makes it 120,000 holding A♠ 5♥ , but lets it go when faced with an 1,100,000 jam from King Lun Shih with 5♠ 5♣ out of the small blind.

Hand #4: Cheng Chen leads 120,000 from the lojack and hijack Yao flats to see the flop 3♣ 3♦ 7♣ where Chen's 75,000 c-bet gets called for the 5♥ turn to hit the felt. Chen slows down to a check and Yao's 200,000 is big enough to get the job done.

Baofeng Zhang is absolutely in control, but Zong Chi He has position on him and is arguably the strongest player left in the field. This makes for a great Final 9 with lots of interesting hands to come!

Baofeng Zhang is still ahead on table 32 and Peng Deng Dominates table 33.

From being chip leader for most of the day, Qingshan Yao just doubled up Erdun Xu and is involved in a big pot again. The action is already on the flop showing A♠ K♣ T♥ and 238,000 up for grabs with him and Xiaqing Ji both checking to reveal the 3♦ turn where Ji jams and Yao check folds without much hesitation, leaving him a tiny stack to work with.

All-day chip leader Qingshan Yao leads the way for 25,000 from the cutoff and takes two customers to the Q♦ J♦ T♣ flop that gets rejected for a free 8♣ turn. Big blind Peng Deng slides out 35,000 and both opponents call to complete the board A♣ . Another 84,000 from Deng with a flush Q♣ 5♣ lures Yao into a call with his K♦ J♠ straight and Ji folds, switching the overall lead from Yao to Deng.
