Dominating his opponents, constantly chipping up in between knockouts he then wrapped up the day by making Renyi Wang the bubble boy after hitting a straight with J♥ 6♣ against A♣ J♣ that made him bag a whopping 574,000 (96 BB).

Second in chips Wei Ting Ye takes 399,000 (66 BB) to tomorrow's Day 2 Final, closely followed by Wei Hong with 375,000 (63 BB).

Digging deep, Yao obviously gets there when the dealer hits the felt 4♥ 3♠ 8♠ 7♦ 5♠ , giving him a straight that puts a cherry on top of his sun run worthy of the overall lead.

Ye binks a set right away on 8♠ T♦ 2♠ A♦ 9♣ , sending both short stacks to the rail.

The river 4♦ spells the end for Xing Gao just a few places before ITM.

Picking up the action on the river 9♥ T♠ 4♠ J♦ 4♥ and 109,000 in the middle, small blind Wei Hong bets 55,000 and sends hijack Zong-Chi He deep in the tank. Emerging with a call after the aid of two time banks, He realizes his 7♥ 7♠ is no match against Wei Hong's A♥ 4♣ and is left with less than two big blinds.

Cutoff Wenqing Dong opens 4,000 and takes two customers to the 6♦ T♠ J♦ flop. The action checks to button Renyi Wang who makes it 6,500 and only big blind Cheng Chen fills up with the aid of one of the five time banks that were just handed out to all the players. The turn 2♣ and river 7♣ get checked down with Chen's Q♦ 7♦ being ahead.

Nuts for Zhang on the flop Q♣ K♥ T♠ and no more help for the others when the board completes 7♦ and 8♦ to eliminate the first two players after late registration closed.

With a 2,500 open and a call in front, big blind Wenqing Dong squeezes to 8,200 which makes the initial raiser fold and button Bin Wang fills up for the flop 7♠ 8♥ 8♣ to be revealed. Dong's 2,800 continuation gets filled before his second barrel of 12,500 on the turn 7♦ is enough to make Wang fold.

Under the gun Xing Gao wants 2,500 and three players pay up to watch the 5♠ K♥ 2♥ flop hit the felt. Gao c-bets 6,000, Yuen Ting Chow flats the button lets it go and big blind Fangwei Zuo fills up as well. The turn J♦ and river 2♣ get checked down with Chow's K♠ Q♣ coming out on top against Zuo's T♦ 5♥ and Gao's 6♦ 6♥ .

Getting to the action on the river A♥ 8♠ Q♣ Q♦ J♥ and 9,500 up for grabs we see big blind Yiming Kuang lead 10,000, Gang Wang raises to 26,000 from the cutoff and sends Kuang in the tank. After tanking for a lot, Kuang shows K♥ T♦ straight before throwing it in the muck.
