David Sommer Bags Flight A Chip Lead

Flight A of the main attraction - APPT Championship - drew a star-studded field with many of the brand's decorated champions navigating a spot at Day 2. Rising above them all was Germany's David Sommer with a stack of 275 bb. Last July, Sommer had a strong run at the APPT Manila Main Event where he finished 38th out of 1,246 entries. He is in prime form to take that even deeper with a very high bar set for the final flight to come.
