Horace Wei - USOP Osaka Main Event Champion

After two hours of thrilling, back-and-forth heads-up action, the battle finally came to an end and Horace emerged as the first-ever USOP Osaka Main Event Champion.

The final hand began with Philip opening the action, only to be met with an all-in shove from Horace, who held K♠ Q♠ . Philip snap-called, turning over a dominating A♣ J♣ .

The flop T♥ J♠ 5♠ , however, turned the tables fast, Horace picked up both an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw, while Philip connected with top pair, top kicker. The drama peaked on the turn A♦ , as both players improved, but it was Horace who hit the nut straight, surging ahead in the most critical moment of the tournament.

Philip was left drawing to just four outs on the river, but it wasn’t meant to be.

The river T♦ bricked, and with that, Horace claimed the title, the trophy, and the glory becoming the inaugural USOP Osaka Main Event Champion.
