Day 2 of the USOP Grand Finale Main Event concluded with the 240 player field trimmed to just 27 players. Starting the day with a healthy 41 bb, Australia's Jon Rounce-Sue was seen chipping up all day while eliminating several players along the way. Already leading the charts before the last hand of the day, Rounce outdrew Bao Qiang Ho into 28th place to widen his lead further and bag up over 105 bb.

Locking up second rank was the recently crowned Korea Poker Cup Main Event winner Joris Michl with 9,820,000 (98 bb), and to round out the top three was another Aussie player, Ryan Hong with 7,265,000 (72 bb) in chips.

The remaining players will return on Monday, December 9 for the final chase to glory and the VND 9.2 Billion champion's purse.

Both Bao Qiang Ho and Jon Rounce-Sue had their chips in the middle with Ho at risk for his last 430,000. Ho showed A♦ 8♣ while Rounce showed K♥ J♥.

The board ran 4♥ T♥ 8♦ 3♦ K♦. Ho led on the flop and turn, but the poker gods awarded Rounce a king on the river to bag the pot and send Ho out of the tournament.

Ryan Hong raised to 200,000 and called the all-in re-raise for 820,000 by Li Mu Ze. Hong showed 4♠ 4♣ against Ze's A♠ A♦. The board completed T♥ 7♦ 6♣ 5♣ J♣ for the aces to hold and for Ze to double-up.

Thi Minh Hong Pham raised to 160,000 on the button and Ryan Hong defended the big blind. The flop came J♠ T♦ 7♠ . Hong check-called the 165,000 c-bet of Pham to see a 4♦ turn. Hong check-called the 350,000 bet again to see a 2♣ river. Both checked.

Hong showed K♠ 4♠ for a pair of fours while Pham showed A♦ 5♦ for an ace-high hand. The chips get shipped Hong's way.

Travis Endersby raised all-in for 350,000 from under the gun and small blind Yuan Sun made the call. Endersby showed A♠ T♦ against the A♦ 5♠ of Yuan Sun.

The board completed 2♦ 9♦ 3♥ 8♦ 7♦. Both players landed a flush on the river, but Sun had the nut-flush, eliminating Endersby.

Zhou Ledong raised to 280,000 on the button and Jon Rounce-Sue three-bet re-raised to 840,000 on the small blind. Zhou called to see a flop of 6♦ 5♥ 3♦.

Rounce led out with 400,000 and Zhou raised to 1,000,000. Rounce re-raised all-in and Zhou snap folded. Rounce showed the K♣ J♠ before giving it back to the dealer.

Ferdinand Lu raised to 210,000 from UTG +1. Big blind Zhou Ledong re-raised all-in. Lu called and risked his last 1,710,000. Lu showed A♠ K♠ and Zhou showed A♥ Q♥.

Lu looked in good shape, but then the board completed T♣ 6♦ 9♦ Q♦ T♦. The pair queen of Zhou was the better hand to win the pot and eliminate Lu from the Main Event.

Lo-jack player raised to 160,000 when cut-off Jun Li three-bet re-raised to 350,000. Small blind Nguyen Duy Thuc then went all-in for 465,000. Lo-jack player stayed away, but Jun Li stayed on and added the change to complete.

Thuc showed A♥ Q♣ and Li showed K♣ Q♥. Board completed Q♦ h 4♦ 6♦ 6♥. Both hit the top queen pair, but the ace kicker of Thuc won the advantage and the pot to double up.

Both Nguyen Thanh Hai and Jon Rounce-Sue had their chips in the middle with Hai's stack of 750,000 at risk. Hai showed A♥ J♣ against the K♥ Q♣ of Rounce. The board completed J♥ T♣ 9♠ 5♥ 6♣. Rounce flopped the nut-straight and that marked the end of Hai's Main Event run.

Both Li Mu Ze and Nguyen Duy Thuc had all their chips in the middle with Ze at risk for the last 415,000 chips. Thuc showed 7♠ 4♣ and Ze showed K♦ Q♥. The board ran K♥ J♠ 5♠ Q♣ 5♣ , giving Ze the two pair and the win, crippling Thuc in the process.

A lot of raise-wrestling went on before Zhang Xun pushed all-in for 2,375,000 and was called by Jon Rounce-Sue with a threatened stack of 2,400,000. Zhang Xun showed J♦ 9♦ to the relief of Sue Rounce who showed a commanding Q♦ Q♥.

The board ran J♣ 8♦ 5♠ 6♠ 4♠, giving a lot of scares to Rounce on the flop and turn, but finally was able to breathe when the river kept the queens ahead and knock out Xun from the main event.

Main Event Tournament Director has announced that play will stop when a final 27 qualifiers remain. Earlier, Day 2 was supposed to play down to a final two tables of 18, but the Tournament Director has made the change to allow players to attend the USOP Players' Party tonight.

Over in the featured table live stream, both Tran Van Tai and Huwang Weiwei had their chips in the middle with Tran Van Tai at risk for all his 910,000. Tai showed A♠ K♥ while Weiwei showed 9♥ 9♦. The board completed 7♠ 6♦ 8♣ 4♠ Q♠ to give Weiwei the win and Tai the exit from the Main Event.

Tobias Bui raised to 125,000 from the button and small blind Choi HunTae three-bet re-raised to 600,000. Bui considered his options, used a time bank before re-popping to 1,150,000. Choi Hun Tae made the call to see a flop of K♥ T♦ 4♠.

With over 2 million in the pot, Choi Hun Tae bet all-i for 1,310,000 an Bui made the snap call. Bui showed A♣ A♦ for a pair of aces and Choi Hun Tae showed A♠ Q♠ with nothing but a gut-shot straight draw.

However, the poker gods threw in a J♦ on the turn to give Choi Hun Tae a straight and Bui desperate to split the pot at most. However, the brick 6♦ didn't help and heartbreak could be felt while the chips were shipped to Choi Hun Tae.

After much raise-fencing, Azik Yacov pushed all-in and Ryan Hong made the call to risjk his tournament left with all of his 3,810,000. Yacov showed Q♦ Q♥ and Hong showed A♠ A♣. The board ran 9♦ 6♦ 2♣ T♥ T♣ to give Hong the pot and the chip leader throng, depleting Azik Yacov to a near-critical stack.

Yuan Sun raised to 125,000 from UTG+1 when Nguyen Tienson three-bet re-raised to 300,000. Sun answered back with a four-bet to 1,325,000. Nguyen Tienson folded and Sun scooped a flop-less pot.

Cho Hun Tae went all-in for 1,375,000 from UTG +1 and the big blind Zhou Ledong defended. Choi Hun Tae showed A♣ K♠ against Zhou's Q♣ Q♥. A coin flip.

The board ran A♦ 2♥ 8♠ 2♣ 4♥. The ace pair of Choi Hun Tae gave him a big double up.

UTG raised to 125,000. Quang Trung Dinh on the next seat went all-in for 290,000 and Adam Martinsson at the cut-off also went all-in. UTG stepped down. Dinh showed A♥ Q♦ which dominated Martinsson's A♠ T♠.

However, the board completed T♦ 4♥ 2♥ 3♣ 6♦ to give Martinsson a pair of tens to eliminate Dinh.

Cut-off raised to 130,000 and Li Jiaming three-bet re-raised to 350,000 on the button. Big blind Jun Li jammed all-in for 980,000. All folded and Li defended the big blind well.

Both Wang Chen and Azik Yacov eventually put all their chips in the middle with Chen's 1,600,000 at risk. Chen showed A♠ K♣ and Yacov showed A♦ A♣. The board ran K♦ T♥ 4♠ Q♥ 3♠. There was some promise for Chen, but it was Yacov who took down the pot and sent Chen to the exit.

After some raise-re-raise muscling, Nguyen Duy Thuc shoved all-in for 3,100,000 and Zhang Yankai called to put 2,680,000 of his chips along with his tournament life at risk.

Thuc showed 9♣ 9♦ while Zhang showed K♣ K♠. The board ran 3♠ Q♦ 8♥ J♠ 2♦ and gave Zhang the biggest pot of the Main Event so far, crippling Thuc to a critical stack.

Choi Hun Tae raised to 100,000 from the cut-off and was called by Adam Martinsson on the button and the big blind. Three players were shown a flop of Q♣ Q♥ J♦. The big blind checked and allowed Choi Hun Tae to bet 110,000. Martinsson was the only caller to see a 3♥ on the turn.

Both players checked to see a Q♦ river. Choi Hun Tae checked and Martinsson fired 450,000. Choi Hun Tae folded.

Small blind Wonho Lee and button Yuhan Liu were staring at a pot of 700,000 with a board that showed 7♠ 2♣ 6♥ J♠. Lee checked the option to Liu, who bet out 300,000. Lee then raised all-in for 910,000. Liu folded.

Li Mu Ze raised 550,000 all-in from the hi-jack and Thi Minh Hong Pham made a heat check in the small blind with a call. Ze showed A♣ J♠ while Thi Minh Hong Pham showed A♠ 9♣.

The board ran T♠ 3♣ 5♣ 6♣ K♥. Both missed, but the Ace-high with a jack of Li Mu Ze was good enough to take down the pot and double up.

Action folded to the blinds and small blind Nguyen Van Sang shoved all-in for 395,000. Big blind Travis Endersby had a lot to process and spent two-time bank tokens to weigh his decision. Eventually, he put a chip in to make the call.

Sang showed A♣ 2♦ versus the K♦ 8♠ of Endersby. Sang was ahead, but all cards were live.

The board completed T♠ 8♣ 6♥ Q♥ 2♣ with Endersby's pair of eights enough to win the pot and send Sang to the rail.

Thi Minh Hong Pham raised to 110,000 from UTG+2 and was called by Li Mu Ze on the small blind and Felix Favre on the big blind. The three were shown a flop of 5♥ 4♣ 8♦.

Both blinds checked to the raiser and Thi Minh Hong Pham obliged with a 125,000 bet. Li Mu Ze got out of the way, but Favre shoved all-in for his last 560,000. Pham double-checked her cards and made the call.

Favre showed 5♠ 4♠ for two pair while Pham showed 5♦ 5♣ for a set of fives. Favre was drawing dead on the K♠ turn and the 6♥ was just a formality.

Tran Van Tai raised to 100,000 from under the gun and called the 300,000 three-bet re-raise of Lee Hanbum on the next seat. The flop came A♠ 2♠ 4♦. Tai led with 200,000 and Hanbum folded.

Martin Gonzales shoved his last 650,000 all-in with Thi Minh Hong Pham making the call. Gonzales showed 9♦ 8♦ while Thi Minh Hong Pham showed A♠ A♥. The board ran K♥ T♠ 9♠ 2♠ 6♠ to give Thi Minh Hong Pham the pot while sending Gonzales to the exit.

Tran Van Tai raise to 100,000 and then called the all-in re-raise of Soo Jo Kim for 395,000. Tai showed 6♦ 6♥ versus Kim's 8♠ 8♣. The board went 8♥ 7♣ 7♠ 9♠ 4♥ giving Kim a full-house on the flop and securing a much-needed double-up.

There was around 400,000 in the pot with a flop that showed 2♣ 6♣ 4♦. Big blind Lee Hanbum bet 85,000 and was called by Waki Yasuhiro from UTG. The turn came K♠ and both players checked The 4♣ came on the river and both players checked again.

Hanbum showed 9♠ 9♥ while Yasuhiro showed A♣ Q♠. Hanbum's nines win the pot.

Chen Xiong shoved all his 400,000 all-in from under the gun and was called by Tran Van Tai on the cut-off. Xiong showed 6♠ 6♦ while Tai showed A♣ Q♦. A coin flip.

The board ran A♥ 7♦ 3♣ J♥ Q♣ giving Tai a two-pair to convincingly send Xiong to the exit.

Li Jiaming raised to 80,000 from the hi-jack and called the all-in re-raise of Doan Quang Trung for his last 375,000. Trung showed A♦ J♥ and Jiaming showed K♠ Q♣. The board ran Q♦ 9♥ 6♣ 4♣ 3♥ with the pair of queens giving Jiaming the win and giving Trung an exit to the payout cage.

Zhang Yakai raised to 80,000 from the lo-jack then called the all-in re-raise of 900,000 by Huang Ming on the cutoff. Zhang showed Q♣ QD versus the A♣ Q♠ of Ming. The board ran J♣ 4♦ 8♥ 5♣ 3♥ giving Zhang the pot and sending Ming to the exit.

Eric Ceret was all-in for 445,000 showing A♠ K♦. Li Jiaming was all-in for 520,000 with T♣ T♥. Ryan Hong was all-in with 9♠ 9♦ and had both covered.

The board ran 6♣ K♣ 3♦ J♠ T♠. Ceret seemed poised to triple up with his pair of kings leading on the flop, but the poker gods threw a ten to give Jiaming a set instead.

Tao Wei Chang and Yuhan Liu were looking at a pot of 1,300,000 chips with a board that showed Q♣ 4♣ 7♣ 3♥ 4♦. Big Bling Yuhan Liu bet 500,000 and Chang went into the tank to analyze all the possibilities along with the hopes and dreams that rest on making the right decision. Chang threw in a time-bank card then threw in a chip to signify the call.

Liu showed 4♠ 4♥ for quads and Chang mucked his cards, with a dry lump in his throat.

Both Long Zhentao and Nguyen Van Sang had their chips in the middle with Sang at risk for his last 515,000. Zhentao showed K♣ Q♣ and Sang showed A♣ Q♦. The board completed T♠ 9♥ 3♦ 2♦ 5♦ to give the edge and the pot to Sang, crippling Zhentao.

Both Jiaming Zhao and Waki Yasuhiro had their chips in the middle with Zhao at risk for the last 490,000. Zhao showed K♠ Q♠ versus the A♦ Q♥ of Yasuhiro.

The board completed K♥ K♦ 9♦ T♠ J♠. Zhao led with trips kings before the poker gods sent two runners to give Yasuhiro a straight. Yasuhiro took down the pot and took down Zhao's name from the Main Event roster.

Big blind Cao Tung Lam and lo-jack Wonho Lee stared a sizable pot in the middle of around 350,000 with a board that showed 8♣ Q♣ 4♣ 6♣ 7♣. Lam led the bet with 85,000. Lee raise to 275,000. Lam thought about it, threw in a time-bank card before also throwing his cards to the muck.

A back-and-forth raise battle between Chenghong Lu and Nguyen Van Sang ended up with all the chips in the middle and Lu at risk for 1,125,000. Lu showed K♣ K♦ while Sang showed A♠ 7♥. The board ran Q♣ 9♠ 5♠ T♦ 3♦ to give Lu's kings the win and a monstrous double-up.

Azik Yacov raised to 65,000 from the lo-jack and called the three-bet all-in re-raise of Bui Xuan Truong for 435,000 from the hi-jack. Yacov showed A♦ J♦ and Truong showed K♠ Q♠.

The board completed 4♥ 8♥ T♦ 9♥ Q♣ . The river paired Truong, but gave Yacov the straight to take down the pot and send Truong to the exits.

Action folded to Bui Xuan Truong on the button and he declared all-in. Big blind Li Jiaming liked his cards enough to defend and risk his last 365,000. Truong showed A♥ 7♥ while Jiaming showed 5♦ 5♥. A coin flip.

The board completed Q♣ 8♦ 5♣ 9♥ 4♠ , giving Jiaming a set and a double up.

Zhou Ledong raised to 60,000 from UTG+1. Yoo Honggo shoved for his last 285,000 from the hijack. Everyone folded, and Honggo scooped the blinds to give his stack some space to breathe.

A tug-of-war raise-re-raise ended with Li Mu Ze shoving all-in and Isaac Phua risking his last 195,000. Ze showed A♥ Q♥ versus the A♣ K♠ of Phua. The board completed 8♣ J♠ A♠ 4♦ J♠ to give both a two pair, but Phua's king kicker broke the deadlock to win the pot and do damage to Ze's stack.

Seo I-Rang raised to 60,000 from under the gun. Action folded nicely until big blind Doan Quang Trung shoved all-in for 315,000. I-Rang took a moment to consider, spent a time-bank token and eventually braved the call. I-rang showed A♠ 6♠ against the A♣ K♠ of Trung.

The board completed A♥ 9♦ 9♣ Q♠ 3♦ with the king of Trung proving to be the advantage to win the pot and decimate the stack of I-Rang.

Hoang The Thanh raised all-in from under the gun for 395,000 and Bao Qiang Ho accepted the challenge. Thanh showed A♣ J♥ while Ho showed A♦ Q♦. The board completed 6♦ 7♣ 2♣ 5♥ 5♦ . The queen kicker of Ho gave the advantage to win the pot and remove Thanh from his Main Event seat.

There was around 260,000 in the pot with a board that showed 8♥ 8♠ 2♠ T♠. Both Azik Yacov and Do Tien Vu put all their chips in the middle with Vu at risk . Vu showed Q♠ J♠ for a flush and Yacov showed A♣ 8♣ for trips eight.

The poker gods threw a Barry Greenstein A♥ on the river to give Yacov a full-house, painfully eliminating Vu from the Main Event.

Action folded to the blinds when Kim Chong Hwa pushed his last 180,000 all-in and Martin Gonzales defended. Hwa showed A♠ 2♠ and Gonzales showed A♦ 4♠. Board ran 4♥ 3♣ 3♠ K♠ 7♣. Gonzales' pair of fours took down the pot and sent Hwa to the rail.

Kim Chong Hwa raised to 60,000 from under the gun and Ryan Hong called on the button. Both were given a flop of Q♥ 6♠ 2♣. Hwa check-called the 45,000 bet of Hong.

Turn showed 7♥. Hwa check-called the 90,000 bet of Hong. River showed 6♦. Hwa check-called the 160,000 bet of Hong. Hong showed A♣ Q♣ and Hwa mucked.

UTG +1 player raised to 50,000. Hi-jack Joris Michl and the button just called. Big blind Chenghong Lu shoved all-in for 410,000 with only Joris Michl continuing on. Michl showed 7♦ 7♠ and Lu showed A♣ T♣ for a coin toss.

Board showed K♥ J♥ 5♦ 8♦ Q♥. All was going well for Michl until the river gave Lu a straight for a double up.

Chen Xiong raised to 50,000 from the lo-jack. Hijack Orlando Has re-raised to 130,000. Xiong raised back to 275,000. Haas shoved all-in Xiong snap folded.

A raising-re-raising tug-of-war ended with an all-in shove by Lee Changhwan for 505,000 and Michael Jun Shu calling.

Changhwan showed A♦ K♠ and Shu showed Q♠ Q♣. The board completed 4♦ 8♥ 2♥ Q♦ 6♠. Shu turned a set and that marked the end of Changhwan's Main Event run.

Kim Doyeon raised from under the gun to 55,000. Michael Joseph Allen three-bet re-raised all-in for 220,000. Ferdinand Lu four-bet re-raised to 460,000 from the lo-jack and isolated.

Allen showed K♦ K♠ and Lu showed T♦ T♠. The board completed 8♥ 4♠ 3♠ 5♣ 6♦ to give Allen the win and the double up.

Sapra Sumit was committed when he raised to 250,000 from under the gun and left behind 70,000 chips. Michael Jun Shu called from the next seat. The flop arrived A♣ 8♣ K♦ and Sumit bet the last 70,000 all-in. It was an easy call for Shu who showed A♠ K♠ against the T♦ T♥ of Sumit.

The board completed 9♦ J♦ and also completed the elimination of Sumit from the Main Event.

Feng Yang pushed his last 330,000 chips all-in from the cut-off and Ryan Hong defended the big blind. Hong showed 8♥ 8♦ and was distraught to see Yang turn over A♣ A♦.

The board completed 4♥ 5♥ 2♣ 7♠ 4♦ to give Yang the win and the big double up.

Both Nguyen Nam Duong and Huwang Weiwei were starting at a 350,000 pot beside a board that showed 7♦ 8♥ 6♠ 5♥ 8♣. Duong led out for 125,000 and Weiwei raised to 300,000. Duong though hard about it, wondered what he would spend the championship prize on, threw in a time-bank token and threw in a chip to signal a call.

Weiwei showed 5♦ 5♠ for a full house and Duong mucked.

Sanroma Iglesias shoved all-in for 240,000 on the hijack with Nguyen The Anh defending the big blind. Iglesias showed A♣ K♠ dominating over the A♠ J♠ of Anh. However, the board completed J♦ J♥ 3♦ 8♣ A♦, giving the underdog hand of Anh a full house to win the pot and send Iglesias out of the Main Event.

Nguyen Hoang Nam raised to 50,000 on the button and William Teoh defended the big blind. The flop arrived 4♠ T♣ Q♣. Teoh checked to allow Nam to bet 75,000 before raising all-in for 185,000. Nam took a moment before making the call.

Nam showed A♦ T♥ for a pair of tens while Teoh showed 8♣ 6♣ for a flopped flush. The board completed Q♥ 5♣ to give Teoh a double-up.

Ryan Hong raised to 50,000 from the cut-off and called the three-bet all-in re-raise of Li Xinze for 560,000 in the small blind.

The board completed A♣ Q♣ 4♣ K♠ 8♠ giving Hong's pair of aces the advantage to take down the pot and send Xinze to the rail.

Brian Patterson raised all-in for 190,000 on the cutoff and Zhang Xun called on the button. Patterson showed A♣ 3♣ versus the A♠ J♥ of Xun. The board ran J♦ 9♦ 2♦ 4♣ K♥ to give Xun a pair of jacks and eliminate Patterson from the Main Event.

Mai Nguyen raised to 45,000 from UTG+2 and was challenged by Meng Guangrui on the button. Both players saw a flop of A♥ 2♥ 4♠. Nguyen checked to Guangrui, who fired 25,000. Nguyen then raised to 110,000 only to see Guangrui fold.

Player UTG+2 raised to 40,000. Nguyern Duy Anh then three-bet re-raised all-in for 235,000 on the button. Dinh Quang Trung also shoved all-in to isolate. UTG+2 folded for a two-way duel.

Anh showed K♦ Q♥ versus the A♠ Q♠ of Trung. Board completed 5♣ 8♦ 7♠ 2♥ 9♣ to bring the win to Trung while sending Anh to the rail.

Nguyen Hoang Nam raised all-in for 345,000 on the cutoff and was called by Ian Modder on the button. Nam showed A♦ 2♠ while Modder showed 9♥ 9♦. The board came A♣ K♠ K♣ 2♣ 8♦ , giving Nam two pair with an ace high pair to win the pot and double up.

Hoang The Thanh raised to 40,000 from the hijack and called the 80,000 three-bet re-raise by Bao Qiang Ho on the button.

Both players were shown a flop of Q♠ 4♠ 6♣. Thanh check-called the 60,000 bet of Ho. The T♥ was given on the turn and both checked, then checked down again after the 2♥ was shown on the river.

Thanh flipped 4♠ 3♠ for a pair of fours while Ho turned over J♥ J♣ for a pair of jacks to win the conservative pot.

Tobias Bui raised to 40,000 from the cut-off and Eugene Co defended the big blind. Both players were given a flop of K♦ 9♦ J♣. Co check-raised all-in for 130,000 after Bui bet 50,000. Bui completed for a showdown.

Co showed 5♦ 6♦, gunning for a flush draw while Bui showed A♥ T♥ which was ahead because of over-cards. The board completed 7♠ A♦ with the river diamond giving the nut-flush to Co and the double up.

li XInze raised to 40,000 from under the gun. Hijack Yu Xiao Tong three-bet re-raised to 120,000. Xinze answered by shoving all-in for 405,000. Tong called.

Tong showed A♣ K♠ against the 9♠ 9♥ of Xinze. A coin flip.

Board completed the 8♥ 2♦ 5♦ 3♦ 8♦ to book the win for Xinze and give a double-up while Tong was left crippled.

Martin Gonzales raised to 40,000 from cut-off and Chu Hsien Lee defended the big blind. Both players were dealt a flop of T♠ 3♥ 3♦. Lee led out with 45,000 and Gonzales called.

The turn was 5♦ and Lee checked to Gonzales, who fired 90,000. Lee surrendered.

Eric Ceret raised to 50,000 from the cut-off and called the 85,000 all-in re-raise of small blind Lee Jimin for a showdown. Ceret showed 8♥ 8♠ against the T♦ 8♦ of Jimin. The board showed 2♦ 6♣ J♥ 8♠ 2♠, giving Ceret a set to win the pot and send Jimin Lee to the payout cage.

Cutoff Li Xinze raised to 40,000. Button Seo Youngwuk three-bet re-raised to 80,000. Do Tien Vu four-bet re-raised to 380,000. No one dared and Vu scooped the pot without a flop.

Chu Hsien Lee raised to 45,000 and called the all-in re-raise of Li Lok Ching for 175,000. Lee showed A♣ T♥ versus the K♦ Q♦ of Ching. The board ran T♠ 5♥ 4♥ 2♥ 6♦ to give Lee a pair of tens to win the pot and show Ching the exit.

The hi-jack raised to 40,000 and Choi Hun Tae called from the cut-off. Small blind Lei Yang three-bet re-raised all-in for 160,000. Hi-jack folded, but Choi Hun Tae stayed on for a showdown.

Choi Hun Tae showed K♠ Q♠ versus the 9♣ 9♦ of Yang. The board completed K♦ 6♦ 4♠ 6♥ 3♠ to book the win for Choi Hun Tae with a pair of kings, busting out Lei Yang from the Main Event.

Popov Slaven Dimitrov raised from UTG+2 to 40,000 and called the three-bet re-raise of 95,000 by Nguyen Duy Anh on the button. Both players were given a flop of 7♦ 6♠ J♠. Dimitrov checked and allowed Anh to bet 70,000 before re-raising all-in for 435,000, covering Anh. Anh surrendered.

Lo-jack min-raised to 30,000 with hi-jack Nguyen Van Sang three-bet re-raising to 65,000. Big blind Hung Wan four-bet re-raise to 120,000. Lo-jack stepped down and Sang made the call to see a J♠ T♥ 3♥ flop. Wan checked and Sang fired 75,000. Wan surrendered.

Lee Kun Han raised to 30,000 from the lo-jack. Zhang Zijing re-raised to 90,000 from the hi-jack. Han answered back by re-popping to 220,000. Zijing answered back with an all-in, putting Han's tournament life into the bet.

Han thought hard about it, threw in two-time banks and threw in the towel.

Meng Guangrui raised to 30,000 from UTG+1 and Yao Renhao defended the big blind. Flop came K♥ T♠ 9♠. Renhao check-raised the 25,000 bet of Guangrui to 80,000, and then called the all-in re-raise for a showdown. Renhao put his last 275,000 chips at risk.

Guangrui showed 9♣ 9♦ for a set of nines while Renhao showed J♠ 2♠ for a gut-shot straight and flush draw. The turn Q♥ gave Renhao the straight and the 8♦ made his straight even longer to take down the pot and double up.

Choi Hun Tae raised to 30,000 from UTG +1 then called the three-bet re-rase of 95,000 from Nguyen Duy Anh on the next seat. The flop came 8♦ 9♦ T♣ and Hun Tae check-called the 70,000 bet to open a 8♠ turn. Both check and saw a 5♦ river. Hun Tae bet all-in, but Anh didn't want to play.

Both Amit Kaushik and YoungWuk Seo were all-in before the flop with Kaushik holding A♠ K♥ vs the T♠ T♦. Board completed Q♥ J♦ J♠ 5♦ 6♦ to give Youngwulk the winning hand to eliminate Kaushik.

Le Giang Nam raised to 170,000 and Do Tien Vu defended the big blind. Flop arrived 3♥ 5♠ J♠ Vu bet 5,000 and Nam called all-in for his last 5,000. Vu showed A♦ T♦ while Nam showed A♣ 3♣ and was ahead with a pair three.

The turn came 5♣ and the river T♥, improving Vu's hand to a better pair to win the pot and remove Nam from the tournament.

Big blind Edgaras Kausinis and lo-jack Zhang Yankai were looking at 130,000 chips in the pot with a board that showed 9♠ 7♥ 5♥ 5♠ Q♥. Kausinis led with 15,000 and Yankai shoved all-in. Kausinis took a moment before calling. Yankai showed A♥ J♣ for an ace-high hand while Kausinis showed Q♣ 2♣ for a pair of queens to win the pot and double-up.

Zhang Cheng raised to 160,000 and Michael Thezar called all-in for his last 140,000. Cheng showed 9♦ 9♣ against the J♦ J♥ of Thezar. The board played out J♠ 2♠ T♣ 3♣ 4♥ to give Thezar trips to double up. Cheng was left with crumbs.

Huang Ming raised to 90,000 from UTG+1 and Nguyen Thai Quang defended the big blind. Flop was dealt 7♥ 2♥ J♠. Quang check-called the 70,000 bet of Ming to see a 7♦ on the turn. Both check to see a 4♠ on the river. Quang checked and Ming checked behind.

Quang showed K♦ 2♦ for a pair of deuces while Ming violently sent his cards to the muck.

Pham Tien Dung raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Yu Xiao Tong called from the hi-jack. The flop arrived J♠ 4♥ 5♠. Dung fired 25,000 and Tong called. Turn came 5♦. Dung fired 40,000 and Tong called. River came J♥. Dung fired 145,000 and Tong folded.
