Mai Nguyen closed out the record breaking Main Event flight as chip leader with 1,150,000 in chips. Nguyen collected from Jinlong Hu late in the day to slide into the top spot. She will enter Day 2 ranked 4th in chips.

Guo Zhanxi and Tran Van Hung were all-in pre-flop with the bubble on the threshold.

Zhanxi showed T♥ T♣ while Hung showed A♠ K♠.

Board completed 7♦ 7♠ 6♣ 8♦ 2♣ with Zhanxi winning the flip, getting the chips and eliminating Tran Van Hung as the bubble boy.

All 92 players are guaranteed in the money and will bag their chips to continue for tomorrow's Day 2 Main Event leg.

Both Dylan Foster and Gediminas Uselis were all-in pre-flop with the 165,000 of Foster at risk. Foster showed A♠ J♠ versus the K♣ 5♣ of Uselis. Board completed 9♦ 7♠ 6♦ A♦ 7♥ to give Foster a top pair of aces, good enough to win the pot and double up.

Mai Nguyen and Jinlong Hu were all-in on the flop. Nguyen had hit top pair while Jinlong Hu had an open-ended straight draw and flush draw. Nothing hit for Hu and Nguyen went to take the huge pot and take the chip leader throne from Hu.

Jinlong Hu raised to 20,000 from UTG+2 and Mai Nguyen defended her big blind to see a flop of J♦ J♠ 8♠. Nguyen check-raised the 15,000 bet of Hu to 40,000 and Hu called. The A♦ opened on the turn and Nguyen fired 100,000. Hu surrendered.

Natalia Rozova raised to 20,000 on the button and called the 80,000 three-bet re-raise by Long Zhentao on the big blind to see a flop of A♣ K♠ 8♦. Both checked to open a J♥ turn. Zhentao led for 60,000 and Rozova called. The river came 9♣ and Zhentao fired another 160,000, but Rozova declined to play.

Do Hoang Linh shoved 136,000 all-in from UTG+2 with 6♠ 6♣ and was challenged by Tran Minh Thang with A♦ K♥, putting his last 104,000 at risk. Board completed 6♦ 2♣ 4♠ A♠ 5♦ with the set of Linh busting out Thang from the Main Event.

320,000 was in the pot with a board that completed J♠ 5♥ 2♦ 9♠ 7♦. Jinlong Hu checked his option to Yuan Sun who fired 175,000. Hu went into the tank and used up 2 time-bank tokens before finally calling. Hu showed Q♣ Q♥ for a pair of queens while Sun showed Q♠ T♠ for a busted flush draw and straight draw.

Nguyen The Anh raised to 17,000. Nguyen Van Trung three-bet re-raised to 48,000. Bui Khan Truong shoved all-in. Anh called and put his 237,000 at risk. Trung folded.

Anh showed K♦ K♣. Truong showed J♥ J♣. Board completed K♠ 7♠ 2♦ 7♦ 2♠ to give Anh a boat and a double-up.

Both Trinh Ang Tuan and Li Bin were all-in pre-flop with Tuan holding Q♣ Q♥ and Bin holding A♠ A♦. Bin was at risk for his last 259,000. The board completed K♦ 9♦ 3♠ 6♣ 7♦ with the aces doubling up Bin and crippling Tuan.

There was 60,000 in the pot with a board that completed Q♠ Q♥ 4♣ J♦ A♠. Big blind Nguyen Cong Du bet 15,000 and Kim Deojkin raised to 45,000. Nguyen called and paid the price. Deojkin showed Q♦ J♥ for the fullhouse while Nguyen showed Q♣ 5♣ for a set of queens.

Yuan Xiaoli went all-in for 56,000 from UTG+1 and was called by Ian Modder and Kim Seounggwon, who still had chips to bet.

Flop came J♦ 9♥ 4♥ . Big blind Kim check-called the 40,00 bet of Modder to see a 9♣ turn. Seounggwon check-folded the all-in shove of Kim and gave up the side pot to Modder. In the main pot, Xiaoli flipped over 5♥ 5♣ and Modder showed Q♣ Q♥.

The river J♥ was no help and Modder's queens double him up .

Both players were all-in pre-flop with Chhabria Shravan Shyam at risk for the remaining 115,000 with 9♠ 9♦ against the A♥ K♥ of Kim Chong Hwa.

Board runs A♦ T♥ 7♠ 5♠ 3♠ giving Hwa the win with a spiked ace on the flop.

There was 100,000 chips in the pot with a board that showed 6♣ 6♥ 2♥ 8♦. Big blind Tran Hai Duong bet for 45,000 and called by Gupta. A Q♣ came on the river and Duong fired another barrel for 125,000 to put Deepankur Gupta at risk. Gupta made the call and showed A♦ 6♦ for a set of aces to double him up while Duong was left wiht not-so-much chips.

Both Noyan Slamiya and Chu Hsien-Lee were all-in pre-fop with Hsien-Lee at risk for the last 93,000.

Slamiya showed Q♥ Q♠ while Hsien Lee had A♦ Q♣.

Board came A♠ 7♣ 4♦ 4♠ 3♦, giving Hsien-Lee the lead. The only queen left on the deck didn't come on the river, putting Slamiya closer to the edge.

Natalia Rozova raised to 16,000 from UTG+2 and called the 46,000 re-raise of Dinh Van Tien from the lo-jack to see a flop of J♣ J♠ 3♦. Rozova check-called the 50,000 bet to see an 8♦ turn. This time, Rozova shoved all-in, risking 122,000 and Tien snap called. Dinh Van Tien showed K♣ K♥ while Rozova showed 8♥ 8♠ for a set. The river was a 3♣ that didn't improve Tien and he get crippled.

Chen Baiyang was at risk for 79,000 with K♦ K♣ against the A♣ Q♦ of Chu Hsien Lee.

Board completed 9♦ 8♥ 5♣ 4♠ T♥ to give Chen the pot and the double up.

Long Zhentao showed A♣ Q♥ for a set of Aces while Kang Wongyu showed K♦ T♦, spiking the ten for a two pair. The river threw a 6♣ brick and Wongyu is eliminated from the Main Event.

Youngwuk bet 25,000 and called the all-in raise of Jie for 64,000. Zheng Jie showed K♣ Q♣ for a flush while Youngwuk showed the nut flush with A♣ T♠ to double-up.

Dinh Van Tien raised to 12,000 from UTG+1 and was called by Travis Endersby at the cut-off and Peng Jingpei on the small blind. Flop came K♦ 8♣ 4♣ . Action checked to Tien who c-bet 18,000, but no one else continued.

In a battle of the blinds, Nguyen Thi Hien Hoa went all-in on the small blind for 56,000 and was challenged by Phan Than Hung to defend the big blind. Hoa shoed A♣ 2♠ while Hung showed Q♦ TSd

Board completed 2♥ 6♥ T♣ A♠ K♥ . Hung was ahead on the flop, but Hoa overtook on the turn when he made a second pair.

The lo-jack raised to 12,000. Button Azizjon Rakhimov shoved all-in for 29,000. Tran Minh Thang isolated with a four-bet all-in re-raise to 46,000. Lo-jack leaves.

Rakhimov showed K♠ K♥ over the Q♥ Q♦ of Thang. The board completed 6♥ 9♠ A♠ 6♠ T♠ to give Rakhimov the nut-flush and busting Thang out of the tournament.

206,000 chips were in the middle and a board that completed K♥ 9♥ A♥ 7♣ 7♦ . Big blind Khanna Ritwikk shoved all-in for 91,000. Li Mu Ze went through all the time-bank tokens before finally making the call. Ritwikk showed J♠ T♥ for nothing while Ze showed A♠ K♣ for a two-pair on a board that had it all.

90,000 was in the pot beside a flop that showed 4♦ 3♦ 2♠. Adam Martinsson bet 200,000 from the small blind and put Song In Ho all-in for 133,000. Song In Ho showed 7♦ J♦ for a flush draw while Martinsson showed A♦ K♦ for the nut-flush draw. The turn was a 9♦ that give both their flush, but Martinsson had the nuts. The river didn't even bother. The chips get shipped to Martinsson while Song was shipped away from the tournament.

Tran MInh Thang raised to 11,000 from the cutoff and Simon Hoffman defended the big blind. The flop came A♣ 2♠ 5♠. Hoffman check-raised the 9,000 c-bet from Thang to 26,000. Thang called to see a Q♣ turn. Hoffman bet 45,000 and Thang shoved all-in. Hoffman surrendered.

Nguyen Tuan Anh raise to 11,000 and called the 28,000 three-bet re-raise of Dinh Quang Huy on the button to see a flop K♠ 3♦ 2♥. Anh check-raised the 20,000 bet of Huy to 50,000. Huy called. Both slowed on the 9♦ turn and 5♥ river. Anh flipped Q♣ T♣ and Huy showed Q♦ Q♠ to take down the pot.

Gerardo Lubas Sr. had A♥ A♦ while Ding Yangyi had 6h6d and put his last 82,000 at risk. Board completed 6♠ T♥ 9♣ J♥ 7♣ to give Yangyi a set of sixes to double up.

Riacrdas Lukauskas put his last 35,000 all-in and Jung Seunghyuk called. Lukauskas showed A♠ 8♦ while Seunghyuk flashed J♣ J♠. The board completed 8♣ 2♥ K♦ 2♠ K♥. Lukauskas hit the 8, but it wasn't enough to beat Seunghyuk and gets taken out of the tournament.

Le Hai raised to 10,000 and Nguyen Phuong Tung defended the big blind. The flop arrived T♦ 2♦ 7♥ and Tung check-raised the 10,000 c-bet to 25,000. Hai shoved all-in and Tung snap called. Tung showed A♦ Q♣ and Tung showed 7♠ 7♦ for a set. The turn threw a 7♣ to give quads and the 4♣ was just icing.

Pham Duy Anh shoved for last 57,000 with Q♠ T♠ and Thi Minh Hong Pham defended her big blind with A♠ 5♦. Board completed K♠ 2♠ T♥ A♣ A♦. Pham Duy Anh was ahead on the flop, but Thi Minh Hong Pham overtook on the turn and slammed on the river to bust out Pham Duy Anh.

Hoang Khiem raised to 11,000 with two callers from the blinds challenging to see a flop of A♦ 3♠ 9♣. Blinds checked to Khiem who c-bet for 14,000. Ma Haohui was the only caller to see the turn 3♦. Both check to see the 5♣. Small blind Ma Haohui bet 55,000 and Khiem called.

Ma Haouhui showed A♠ J♥ but the kicker of Khiem from A♣ K♣ was better to win the pot.

88,000 was in the middle with a board that showed 9♦ 4♦ T♥ 9♣ 5♠. Bui Xuan Truong fired 39,000 and Duong Thanh Tung made the call. Truong showed A♦ 9♠ for a set of nines and Tung mucked.

Jeevani Maurice raised to 20,000 and called the all-in re-raise of Ha Manh Tuong for 65,000 to enter a showdown.

Maurice showed 8♠ 8♦ against Tuong's A♦ J♣. Board ran K♦ 3♥ Q♣ J♥ 2♥, giving Tuong a double-up.

Both Do Haong Linh and Jun Li were staring at a flop of A♥ J♦ 6♠ and a pot of 60,000 chips.

Jun Li was holding 6♥ 6♦ and Linh with A♠ Q♥. Betting war began an Linh called the 90,000 all-in of Li.

Both spiked the flop, but Li had a set of sixes over the top pair of Linh. Board finished 2♣ 3♥ to give Li the double up.

UTG+1 raised 8,000 but got out of the way after a four-bet to 65,000 by Nguyen Duc Cuong which was called by three-bettor Nguyen Tuan Anh. Both playes saw a flop of J♥ 8♦ 7♦. Cuong led for 30,000 and Anh followed to see a 3♣ turn . Cuong fired all-in for 98,000 and Anh made the call,

Anh showed K♣ K♦ and Cuong showed A♣ K♠. Board finished with 7♣ and Anh took down the flop, leaving Cuong searching for the exit.

Zhang Jie raised to 10,000 from the hi-jack and called the three-bet all-in re-raise of Tao-Wei Chang on the big blind of 130,000. Chang showed A♦ K♣ while Jie showed K♦ K♥. Board ran Q♣ 4♠ 7♥ 8♠ A♣, giving Chang an ace on the river to double up and stay alive.

Nguyen The Anh raised to 8,000 from UTG and was the only caller to challenge the 25,000 three-bet re-raise by Luo Chengjian to see a flop of J♣ 6♥ 5♥. Anh check-called the 20,000 c-bet to see a 4♦ turn. Both checked to see a 2♠ river. Anh bet 65,000 and Chengjian snap called. Anh showed 3♥ 3♦ to make a straight, and Chengjian snap mucked his hand to the dealer.

Both players had their chips in the middle with Dan Van Nguyen at risk for his last 117,000.

Nguyen Quoc Cuong raised to 8,000 and called the all-in shove of 49,000 by Romain Bier. Bier showed A♣ K♦ while Cuong showed 8♠ 8♦.

The board ran 8♠ 6♣ 4♠ 8♥ K♥ to give Cuong quad eights and eliminate Bier from the Main Event.

Phan Thanh Hung raised to 9,000 and called the all-in raise of Josh McCully. McCully showed A♦ J♣ and Hung flipped over 4♣ 4♦ . The flop came A♣ 3♣ 2♦ to give McCully the lead, but also added out for Hung. The rest of the board fell K♠ 5♣. Hung rivered a straight and busted a disappointed McCully.

There was 88,500 beside a flop that showed J♠ 9♣ 2♦. Three players were still in. Big blind Huang Weiwei led out with 41,000 and Doan Tuan was the only challenger to see a Q♥ turn. Weiwei shoved all-in for 111,500 and was called by Tuan.

Tuan showed K♣ Q♠ for a pari of queens and a gut-shot straight draw. Weiwei showed A♠ A♦ and went on to win the pot after the 5♦ brick.

UTG+1 player raised to 6,000 then Hoang Khiem on the button three-bet re-raised to 20,000. Small blind four-bet all-in to 59,000 and Khiem was the only caller.

Deojkin flashed A♠ A♥ versus the A♣ Q♥ of Khiem. The aces held on a board of 8♦ 6♣ T♥ K♠ 7♠ and double Deojkin.

49,000 chips were in the middle beside a flop that showed K♠ 2♦ 6♥. Small blind Mai Kim Phuong bet 25,000 and was raised to 55,000 by Yoon Doyeon on the hi-jack, Phuong analyzed and listened to the voices in the head and shoved all-in for 110,000. Doyeon snap called and showed 6♣ 6♠ for a set of sixes. Phuong showed 9♣ 9♥ and had a 2-outer. The board completed K♦ 5♥ and Phuong's Main Event hopes are crushed while Yoon's chijps are boosted.

Laurinaitis Vytautas raised to 5,000 from under the gun and got called by Dang Thi Hue on the button and Ge Yingrui on the big blind.

The three were treated to a flop of 4♣ 2♠ J♦. Action checked to initial raises Vytautas, who fired 6,500 and still all called to see a turn 7♣. All checked to see a river 3♠.

Yingrui fired 18,000. Vytautas raised to 47,000 and Dang Thi Hue re-popped to 100,000. Yingrui stood down and Vytautas made the call.

Dang Thi Hue showed 5♠ 6♠ for a straight and Vytautas mucked his hand.

Xu Yuan raised to 30,000 from UTG+1 when Park Inho at the cut-off shoved all-in and Yuan had to put his 34,000 at risk. Yuan showed 9♠ 9♥ and Inho showed K♦ K♣.

The kings held on a board of 3♦ 6♠ 8♥ 7♦ 2♥ and busted Xu Yuan from the Main Event.

35,000 chips were in the middle beside a board that showed 8♦ K♦ Q♦ J♦ . Small blind Dinh Quang Huy check-raised the 15,000 bet of Duong Ha Thanh to 45,000 and made him fold.

Out of the total 739 entries (507 unique), there will be only 92 top qualifiers who will bag their chips to advance to Main Event Day 2 tomorrow.

Registration has officially closed for flight Day 1c of the Main Event.

A total of 739 Day 1C Main Event entries surpassed the 587 Day1C Main Event entries in USOP Danang, making it the biggest Day 1C total entries for a USOP Main Event. Word also has it that the VND 40,000,000 guarantee has been passed and the prize pool will be much bigger.

The total guaranteed prize pool is yet to be determined since there is still Day 1D flight to complete their registration.

Nguyen Tuan Anh raised to 3,500 from the lo-jack and found two callers to open a flop of Q♣ 3♣ 5♠. Big blind checked his option to Anh who c-bet for 4,000. Two called behind again to open a J♣ turn. Big blind and Anh check to Bui Duc Tu, who fired 12,000 and forced all to fold.

Yee Wing Lee raised to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by the cut-off before Nguyen Van Trung three-bet re-raised on the button to 9,500. Both players followed and the three saw a flop of J♣ T♠ 9♠.

All checked to open the 4♦ on the turn. Lee led for 20,000 and found no callers.

37,500 chips were in the middle beside a flop that displayed 8♦ 3♥ 6♠. Big blind Kunal Patni led out for 10,500 before Nguyen The Binh shoved all-in for 49,500. Patni took a look at his cards and threw them away.

Pham Tung Khanh raised to 3,000 from the button and called the 10,000 three-bet re-raise by Dylan Foster on the big blind to see a flop of Q♥ 3♥ T♦.

Foster bet 8,000 and Khanh called to open a J♠ turn. Foster went all-in for 27,100 and Khanh snap called, flipping over Q♠ T♣ to show the two-pair. The 7♥ bricked for Foster and the pot was shipped to Khanh.

Mai Nhu Hieu raised to 2,500 from the hi-jack and called the three-bet re-raise to 10,000 by big blind Ki Junhyoung to open a flop of K♥ 8♦ 9♣. Junhyoung led with 10,000 and called the Hieu's 25,000 raise to see a 2♣ turn. Both checked to see a 2♥ river. Junhyoung bet all-in for 45,900 and Hieu folded.

There was 11,200 in the pot with a board that showed 4♦ 3♥ 2♦. Big blind Phi Tien Sang checked to the hi-jack who bet 5,500. Button Qiu Haisheng called then Phi shoved all-in for 33,000. Haisheng was the only one who called. Haisheng showed K♣ 5♣ for an open-ended straight draw while Phi Tien Sang showed A♦ T♦ for a nut-flush draw. The turn came 7♦ to give Phi the win. The river 6♠ didn't matter, although it gave Haisheng a straight.

Cut-off raised to 2,500 and Rounce-Sue called on the button. Small blind Bui Yuan Truong three-bet raised to 10,000. Cutoff folded and Rounce-Sue pounced with an all-in for 41,000 and Truong folded.

UTG player raised to 2,400 with two callers following. Then small blind Zhao Gong three-bet raised to 13,000. Only Yee Wing Lee called to see a flop of A♣ 7♥ T♦. Gong led with 13,000 and Lee called to open a turn J♣. Gong checked and Lee didn't hesitate to fire 15,000. Gong thought deep, examined his options, wondered if dragons still slept in deep caves beneath the earth, threw in two time-bank tokens and also threw in the towel.

Nguyen Dieu Phuong Linh raised to 2,000 from UTG and found 3 callers to a flop of K♣ 9♦ 5♣. Small blind checked to Linh who fired another 3,000. Cho Jeonggyu called and then Nguyen Anh Minh raised to 10,500. Both players surrender to give Minh the pot.

28,500 chips were in the middle beside a board that showed 2♠ 9♣ 8♣ 5♠. Guo Jingwa check-called the 28,500 all-in of Jennifer Cassell. Jingwa showed 6♠ 6♦ while Cassell showed K♠ K♥. The river T♣ didn't help anyone and the chips went to Casell's way.

There was 33,500 in the pot between Jeevanji Maurice on the button and Le Thong Su on the big blind. The board read 7♥ 6♣ J♣ T♣. Su led for 15,000 and called after Maurice shoved all-in for 33,500.

Maurice showed a two pair with J♦ T♠ while Su showed A♥ K♣, gunning for a flush.

The A♠ improved Su to a pair of aces, but wasn't enough to win it.

Pham Thi Minh Hong raise to 1,700 from the cut-off and got called by Do Phi Hung on the button and Eric Ceret on the big blind. The flop arrived 4♠ 4♥ K♣. Action folded to Hong, who c-bet 2,200. Both called behind to see a 9♦ turn. All checked to see a J♠ river. Action checked to Hong, who fired 8,500 and got both to call. Hong showed the A♦ A♠ and the two showed their hands to the muck.

Korea's Juyeol Lee, who won the USOP Hai Phong Main Event champion just this September 2024.

Malaysia's Tse Ian Lee was the USOP Danang Main Event champion this March 2024. Ngoc Dai Nguyen of Vietnam also championed the Main Event back last year in USOP Hanoi.

There was 14,400 in the pot with a complete board of 8♣ 5♣ 5♠ 3♥ T♥. Small blind Ngo Thieu Long led out for 5,000 and three-bet the 14,000 raise by Pham Tien Thanh to 30,000. Thanh completed.

Ngo Thieu Long showed a set of fives with A♥ 5♥ while Pham Tien Thanh showed the rivered full-house with T♠ T♦,

Nguyen Trung Ha in UTG+2 went on a raising wrestling match with Dang Thi Hue on the small blind. Eventually, Ha put his 10,600 at risk with A♥ Q♦ going up against the 8♥ 8♣ of Hue.

The board completed A♣ 3♥ 7♦ 7♠ Q♠ and shipped the double-up to Ha.

Wang Xiaohui on the button and Nguyen Quang Duc on the big blind went on a raise-re-raise tug-of-war. Eventually, Duc used the all-in card for 70,700 and Xiaohui folded to award a pot of nearly 30,000.

8,700 were in the pot beside a flop that showed T♠ 4♠ 2♦. Cao Tung Lam check-called the 3,200 bet of Nguyen Hong Quan to see a turn A♥. Both checked to see a 2♠ river. Lam took his time and bet out 11,500. Quan studied his options and eventually counted the chips and said, "Call."

Lam sent his cards to the muck and Quan didn't have to open before the pot was sent his way.

Pre-flop all-in showdown between Qiu Luowei's Q♥ Q♦ versus the A♠ K♠ of Nguyen Trung Ha.

Board completed 6♣ 8♥ J♣ 5♠ J♠ to give Luowei the win and the double, damaging Ha to crumbs.
