Day 1D of the TMT 18 Main Event brought another wave of players to Red Space, Taipei, with 817 entries taking their shot at the NTD 31 million (~USD 1M) guaranteed prize pool. After eighteen levels of play, 123 players made the money, with just 65 bagging chips for Day 2.

Local runner Su Wei Ku quietly climbed the ranks throughout the day before exploding late to bag 794,000 (79 BB) and take the lead across the field.
