TMT 17 NLH Master Day 1B concluded with Michael Kim Falcon taking the chip lead heading into Day 2 alongside 44 survivors. With a total of 290 entries, the flight ran through 14 intense levels before the bubble burst. NLH Master Day 2 takes place Wednesday, 15 January at 11:00.

The chip leader Michael Falcon accumulated a massive stack of 784,000 [130 BB] in NLH Master Day 1B. The Danish player who had a stack 48,500 at the beginning of Level 8 managed to stay in the race with some masterful and eliminating several players along the way. Among his knockouts were Bart Wolterink, Jonald Garcia, and Ztu Chun Lin.

Coming in second in chips was Taiwan’s Kai Hung Hu with 496,000 [82BB]. In third rank was is Ci Hong Ho of Taiwan with 404,000 [67BB] . Other notable players also moving on were Sukhum Kiwanont of Thailand and Anton Widjaya of Indonesia.

TMT 17 NLH Master built a total prize pool of TWD 6,822,500 (USD 206,767). 79 combined players from Day 1A (35 survivors) and Day 1B (44 survivors) will be competing for the grand prize of TWD 1,048,500 (USD 31,776) at Day 2.

Michael Falcon (HJ) raises 9,000 pre-flop and Bart Wolterink (SB) three-bets all-in 51,500. Falcon call and the players showdown. Wolterink had K♣ Q♠ while Falcon held A♠ T♦ . The board ran J♦ 5♠ 6♦ 9♠ 8♠ . Falcon wins with Ace-High.

CO raises 2,000 pre-flop and Falcon Michael (SB) calls and so does Kai Chun Chen (BB). The flop brings 2♥ 3♥ 4♦ . After a round of checks and the turn brings 7♣ . Michael bets 3,000 while Chun Chen calls and CO folds. The river brings K♥ and Michael bets another 4,000 while prompting Chun Chen to call. In the showdown Michael shows T♣ K♣ while Chun Chen mucks.

Michael Kim Falcon pushed his remaining 3,500 in and was called by Yoda Lin on the big blind.

In for a race, board 3♦ J♦ 4♥ T♣ 6♠ landed a pair for Lin, enough to bust Falcon early in the NLH Master games.

Vying for 16,600 in the middle across board 9♦ T♣ A♣ 6♠ , action was caught on Michael Kim Falcon with a bet of 6,000. Ziad Zebib on the small blind, check called yet quickly gave it up after Falcon threw in another 12,500 on river 9♦ .
