TMT 17 NLH Master Day 1B concluded with Michael Kim Falcon taking the chip lead heading into Day 2 alongside 44 survivors. With a total of 290 entries, the flight ran through 14 intense levels before the bubble burst. NLH Master Day 2 takes place Wednesday, 15 January at 11:00.

The chip leader Michael Falcon accumulated a massive stack of 784,000 [130 BB] in NLH Master Day 1B. The Danish player who had a stack 48,500 at the beginning of Level 8 managed to stay in the race with some masterful and eliminating several players along the way. Among his knockouts were Bart Wolterink, Jonald Garcia, and Ztu Chun Lin.

Coming in second in chips was Taiwan’s Kai Hung Hu with 496,000 [82BB]. In third rank was is Ci Hong Ho of Taiwan with 404,000 [67BB] . Other notable players also moving on were Sukhum Kiwanont of Thailand and Anton Widjaya of Indonesia.

TMT 17 NLH Master built a total prize pool of TWD 6,822,500 (USD 206,767). 79 combined players from Day 1A (35 survivors) and Day 1B (44 survivors) will be competing for the grand prize of TWD 1,048,500 (USD 31,776) at Day 2.

Lance De Vera (HJ) raises 10,000 pre-flop and Widjaya Anton (CO) calls to see the flop K♠ TD K♥ . De Vera bets 15,000 while Anton calls to see the turn 3♣ . De Vera bets 20,000 and Anton calls bringing in the river 4♠ . De Vera checks and Anton bets 50,000. De Vera calls and Anton reveals that he held trips kings all along with J♥ K♦ and De Vera mucks his hand.

UTG raises 2,400 pre-flop while UTG+1 calls. Anton Widjaya (UTG+3) three-bets 8,000. Feng Wen Chen (HJ) fourbets all-in 13,600. UTG and UTG+1 folds leaving Widjaya and Wen Chen to enter showdown. Widjaya had Q♣ Q♦ and Wen Chen K♣ A♥ . The board ran 5♣ 2♥ A♦ 6♥ 7♥ . Wen Chen takes the pot with pair of Aces.

Anton Widjaya sent out a 4,500 three bet against Yu Jyue Huei's early open and saw the latter complete. On board J♦ 4♥ 2♥ 5♣ 8♦ , Widjaya fired all three streets - 3,500, 10,000, and 24,000, with Yu check calling to showdown. Widjaya revealed top pair A♦ J♥ and earned the boost following a muck from his opponent.
