Day 1A chip leader Zheng Xuan Cai had an intense journey filled with ups and downs. His journey to accumulate a massive stack of 884,000 [147 BB] began when he knocked out Gary Ma with top pair over a missed draw. BB checks while Lin c-bets 3,600 keeping consistent with his aggressive play and Lai to call. while BB folds. The players see the turn 2♥ . Lin bets on the turn 11,000 and Lai calls. The river brings A♦ and Lin bets 20,000 causing Lai to fold.

A six way raised pot led by Kun Han Lee read a flop of T♣ 9♣ 4♥ . Action checked to Hung Chang Lin, who bet 3,200. Lee along with Wu Chiayun, check called, peeling turn J♥ . Wu this time, led for 5,100 and saw only Hung stick around to river 2♥ .
