Day 1C
No EZ Game for Kiwook Kang

In a three-bet pot to the 9♣ 5♠ 2♥ flop, EZ jammed and Kiwook Kang reluctantly called all-in for the 40,500 he had behind. Both players turned over pocket pairs and Kang was in rough shape.
The 6♠ turn increased his outs with an additional gutshot but the Q♣ river sent Kang packing.

Shingo Ito Eliminated by Sungwon Seo
Soobin Chun had raised to 4,000 just before the blinds went up and Shingo Ito then jammed for 21,500 in the cutoff. Sungwon Seo reshoved on the button for 125,500 and Kiwook Kang in the small blind asked for a count, sigh-folded. Chun also folded and Ito had a mountain to climb with his queen-jack versus aces.
The board ran out K♥ 6♣ 4♥ 4♠ J♠ and that spelled the end for Ito.

The latter turned over Ace-Nine but Yang won the pot with the 8♣ 8♥ .

The at-risk player showed Q♥ 7♥ for a flush draw, up against Fujiwara with Q♣ J♦ and Kang who held the J♠ T♥ for the same trips but weaker kicker. The river was the 6♦ and Fujiwara won the main and side pot.
