The two-day highlight, PS High Roller, has officially wrapped up its initial games with a total of 72 entries recorded throughout the Day 1 round. Only half of the field at 36 players survived the first ten levels of play with Malaysia's Chee Chen topping the ranks with a chip count of 589,000. His rise to the lead was brought by a crucial spot in the last hour, having spiked a two outer with his queens against Hongyu Huang's pocket aces.

Chen stands to be the sole runner to crack the 500K mark, leaving a substantial gap with next in line Wilson Wang's 467,000 stack. Belgium's Kristof Segers and Japan's Hidenari Tomita share the third spot, both bringing 438,000 onto the next stage.

Registration remains open through the first two levels of tomorrow's Final Day battle, where the payouts are due to be unveiled.

With 78,500 in the middle across board Q♥ 8♣ 5♠ K♥ , Tang Ngong made a go for it with an all-in for 64,000. Tom Verbruggen behind made the call with A♥ 8♥ , putting Ngong at risk with top pair Q♦ J♥ .

River came a 5♥ , filling up Verbruggen's flush to knock Ngong out just as the day is about to close.

Two-time Players Series winner Daniel Yang has shoved twice in a row and picked up a minor boost after seeing no takers.

A three way raised pot led by Ka Shing Leung dealt flop J♣ J♦ 4♣ . Leung continued for 5,500 and saw both Masaaki Izushima and Tomita Hidenari stick around to turn 4♣ . Leung barreled another 18,000, leaving Izushima to fold, and Hidenari with a raise to 40,000. Leung called, and paid another 40,000 on river 6♠ , only to muck as Hidenari revealed a full house J♠ 3♠ .

Hon Cheong Lee open shoved 38,000 on the cutoff and saw Hidenari Tomita wake up to the challenge.

In rough shape, Lee headed out shortly after board 3♥ 3♦ 2♠ 5♣ J♥ failed to save him from his demise.

Gerald Foo opened 6,500 on the cutoff and called a 20,000 three bet from Kristof Segers on the button. On board K♠ 7♠ 4♣ J♦ , Segers double barreled - 15,000 and 37,000, leaving Foo unable to continue by the second street.

Dan Kwan opened 6,000 on the hijack and was met with a 15,000 three bet from Chee Chen a seat after. Kwan bumped it up further to 50,000, yet folded after Chen pushed all-in.

Chih Wang opened utg+1, joined by Tony Tsai on the big blind onto flop A♣ 9♥ 5♥ . Wang continued for 5,000 and called 10,000 more following a raise from his opponent. On turn 6♣ , Tsai led all-in for 50,000, snap called by Wang with top pair.

Gunning for some outs, Wang found one on river T♥ , landing him a flush to take the win and deliver Tsai's bust.

Mu Ze Li opened utg+1 and went on to fourbet jam against Joe Keating's 19,000 raise from the small blind. Keating called off his remaining 50,000 and was in great form to double up.

No bad beats were delivered on board 8♦ 9♦ 5♣ 7♠ T♥ , earning Keating the pot with a jack high straight.

Chee Chen sent out a 14,000 three bet on the button against an early open and saw Hongyu Huang on the big blind, cold four bet to 29,500. Chen answered with a shove, snap called by Huang for his entire 140,000.

Crushed against the rockets, Chen instantly turned the tables as the board Q♣ 5♣ 2♥ 3♦ 7♦ landed him a set to take the overall lead.

A button vs big blind battle brewed 23,500 in the middle across board 8♥ 8♣ 6♦ 4♣ K♥ . Hsiao Hao Wei tried to make a run for it with a 15,000 bet, but instead got his Q♣ 3♣ exposed after Hidenari Tomita check called with 5♥ 4♠ .

Gerald Foo opened 5,000 on the cutoff, called by Hisashi Yoshimoto behind along with Paul Yugendra on the big blind.

Foo continued for 6,000 on flop Q♥ 2♣ 2♦ , called once more by Yoshimoto. Action back to Yugendra, he raised to 15,000, and saw both stick around to turn 5♦ .

Yugendra checked, prompting Foo to bet 30,000 and call Yoshimoto's shove behind for 68,500 total.

A top pair battle, Foo's better kicker ran in play as river 7♣ offered no salvation for Yoshimoto.

Chao Ting Cheng open shoved his last 23,500 and was challenged by Chun Chiu right on the big blind.

Dominated, Cheng was in luck to find the board J♥ T♠ 9♦ 5♥ 8♦ roll him a queen high straight to earn a much needed double up.

A back and forth between Gilsoo Kim and Dan Kwan saw the latter five bet jam his entire 99,000 preflop, snap called by Kim.

At risk, Kwan faded elimination, having spiked an ace on board 6♦ 7♦ 3♥ A♠ 7♥ to survive through.

Facing an open and a call, Chih Wang sent out an 18,000 three bet on the button, and saw both complete to see flop 9♣ 7♣ 3♣ . Wang continued for 27,000, check raised by Kristof Segers to 65,000. Wang burnt through all his time banks and eventually found the fold, shooting him back down to a starting stack.

Gerald Foo opened utg, called behind by both Hisashi Yoshimoto and Baron Ha on the button. Foo continued for 5,500 on flop J♥ 8♥ A♣ , weeding none onto turn A♦ . Foo this time checked, urging Yoshimoto to bet 10,000. Ha called behind, and faced a raise from Foo to 25,500. Both opponents surrendered, shipping Foo the pot.

With a pot of 56,000 centered around board J♦ A♦ K♦ 8♠ , two stacks rushed to the middle - Yue Hin Lam at risk for his 72,000 stack against Hisashi Yoshimoto.

Yoda Lin defended his button open and called an 18,000 three bet from Thomas Liffick on the small blind. On flop A♣ J♣ 4♣ , Lin called another 15,000 and headed to turn 2♥ . Checked to him, Lin gunned for 45,000, enough to get Liffick to lay it down.

With 21,500 in the middle across board 4♥ 6♣ 3♥ 4♠ , Jun Yi led 6,500 on the small blind and saw Yuhan Su bump it up to 15,000. Yi answered with another raise to 35,000, and called for the rest after Su moved all-in.

A three way raised pot led by Gerald Foo dealt flop A♠ 9♣ 2♣ . Foo double barreled 4,500 and another 6,500 on turn J♣ , with Baron Ha on the big blind check calling both streets. River A♥ welcomed no more bets, earning Ha the boost with two pair J♠ 9♦ .

Jun Yi opened 3,500 utg+1 and was called behind by Yuhan Su. On flop J♥ 9♥ T♠ , Yi bet 20,500 and picked up the pot straight away.

With a 21,300 pot centered across board A♦ T♣ K♦ Q♣ , action was checked to Wilson Wang on the button, who bet 15,000. Both Nick Lai and Erwing Ng check called, and check called a final 40,000 on river 3♣ from Wang.

All tabled a straight and chopped up the pot three ways.

Dongyeol Choi opened 2,500 utg+1 and called a 6,500 three bet from Anson Wong behind. On flop Q♦ 2♣ 5♣ , Wong continued for 5,000 yet folded after Choi pulled a check raise to 10,000.

Dan Kwan fired a 7,000 three bet against an utg open and saw Mark Lee cold call behind. Kwan continued for 5,000 on flop Q♥ 7♦ 6♦ , and called 8,000 more following a raise from Lee. No bets went in on turn 9♦ , seeing river K♦ complete the board. Kwan led 26,000, which left Lee to take a minute. Lee eventually paid the price with A♥ A♣ , no good against Kwan's flush 5♦ 4♦ .

Facing an early open and a call, Mark Lee on the button launched a three bet to 8,700. Masaaki Izushima on the big blind made it 16,500 to go, enough to put a stop on the action. Lee showed A♣ Q♣ as he gave up the pot.

Gaurav Idnani opened on the hijack and went on to four bet 14,000 against Kristof Segers' raise right behind. Segers completed and called two streets - 6,500 and 15,000, on board 8♣ 6♦ 4♦ 9♥ . On river 9♦ , Idnani decided to check it back, revealing Segers' two pair T♥ 6♥ , good against Idnani's A♥ T♠ .

Yoda Lin opened to 3,000 on the small blind, and called Baron Ha's raise right behind for 7,000 more. On flop 9♣ 7♥ 4♠ , Lin check called another 6,000 bet, revealing turn 9♦ . Both checked it through to river 5♥ , where Ha bet a final 45,000 and left Lin in surrender.

Vying for 18,000 in the middle across board 5♠ 8♠ 5♦ 6♥ , Chun Chiu check called an 8,000 bet from Chao Ting Cheng, and got to showdown for cheap after river 3♥ was checked through. Chiu showed Q♥ Q♣ and shipped the pot as Cheng tossed his hand in the muck.

Wu Chiayun opened 2,500 on the cutoff and went on to call Kenneth Chuang's all-in for 40,800 total.

In for a flip, Chuang was close to booking a win on board 2♦ 8♥ T♠ 5♦ , up until the river K♥ paired up his opponent to send him out entirely.

Dan Kwan opened to 2,500 utg+1 and called an 8,000 three bet from Baron Ha behind. On flop 9♥ 5♦ 2♣ , Kwan quickly let it go as Ha continued for a hefty 20,000.

Mark Lee opened on the cutoff, joined by both players on the blinds onto flop K♣ 4♦ 5♥ . Lee continued for 2,500 and saw both opponents check call, revealing turn Q♦ . Checked to Lee once more, he barreled another 10,000 yet folded after Chi Jen Chen pulled a raise to 25,000.

Kun Han Lee open shoved on the cutoff and saw Isen Wu tank call off for his entire 76,700 stack on the button.

A gutsy call, the move unfortunately didn't pay off for Wu as the board 5♠ 2♠ T♥ K♦ J♣ remained safe for Lee's rockets.

Hao Cheng opened 1,800 utg and called 5,000 more following a raise from Gilsoo Kim on the button. On board 3♦ 7♣ 6♣ A♠ , Kim double barreled - 7,300 and 25,000, leaving Cheng unable to continue by the second bet.

With a pot of 39,400 centered across board 2♦ 2♠ 8♣ J♥ Q♦ , Gilsoo Kim on the small blind made an attempt for 27,000. Chun Chiu right behind bumped it up to 75,000, sending Kim deep in the tank. Kim eventually decided to fold, showing trip deuces A♣ 2♣ , which turned out to be a good decision as Chiu revealed a boat Q♥ Q♠.

Wilson Wang defended his utg+1 open and called a 4,200 three bet from Nick Lai on the big blind. Lai continued for 3,000 on flop 5♣ 8♥ 5♥ . Wang raised to 8,000, and pulled another 15,000 on turn Q♠ . Lai called both bets yet opted out on river 4♠ after Wang sent out a final 35,000.

With 11,200 in the middle across board 4♥ 5♣ 7♦ 9♠ 2♥ , Dan Kwan on the big blind led out a bet of 14,000. Erwin Ng behind, made the call, and mucked as Kwan revealed two pair 9♥ 7♣ .

Kun Han Lee opened to 1,600 utg, joined by three other players onto flop K♥ T♦ 8♦ . Lee continued for 3,600, and was called by both Chia Kai Hsiang and Nick Lai. All three checked turn 8♥ and river 5♥ to showdown , with Lee showing K♠ Q♣ for the pot.

Yoda Lin opened utg+1 and called a 6,100 three bet from Dan Kwan on the big blind. Kwan continued for another 4,000 on flop 4♦ 5♦ K♥ , called by Lin. Both players checked turn K♠ through to river Q♥ , where Kwan bet a final 17,000. Lin gave it up and slipped his hand in the muck.

Hao Cheng sent out a 4,000 three bet against an utg open and saw Hyunsick Jang call behind. On board K♠ 5♦ 6♥ 8♥ , Cheng double barreled - 3,500 and 12,500. Jang called the initial street yet surrendered after Cheng proceeded with aggression.

Wu Chiayun opened 1,000, called behind by Gerald Foo along with the big blind. Flop J♠ 4♠ T♥ was checked to Foo, who bet 1,000. Wu check called, and faced another 2,500 bet from his opponent on turn 5♦ . Wu called once more, and arrived at showdown shortly after river 2♦ was checked through.

Foo showed top pair K♠ J♦ and shipped the pot.

Nick Lai defended his cutoff open and called a 4,000 three bet from Wu Chiayun on the big blind. Action on board J♠ 9♠ 4♦ Q♥ 3♦ was again, checked down to the river, where Wu bet 5,000. Lai called and mucked as Wu turned over A♥ A♣ .

Nick Lai opened 1,100 on the cutoff and was joined by both players on the blinds. Action on board 5♦ J♣ 6♣ 2♠ 6♥ was checked down to the river, where Chi Jen Chen led for 2,000. Both opponents threw in the fold, allowing Chen to show quads 6♦ 6♠ as he raked in the pot.

With two limps ahead, Wu Chiayun raised to 3,000, and saw Masaaki Izushima complete to see flop 3♥ 4♣ J♣ . Wu continued for another 3,000, called once more by his opponent. Wu Chiayun defended his big blind against a Masaaki Izushima's button open, and went on to lead 1,000 on flop 6♠ 2♠ 5♣ . Izushima made the call and paid another 1,500 on turn 2♥ . On river 6♥ , Wu bet a final 4,000, and called another 6,000 after Izushima put in a raise, only to muck after Izushima revealed a boat 5♦ 5♠ .
