Hong Kong's Horace Leung Crowned New PS High Roller Champion Banking 7 Figures NTD1,001,000 (~$30,830)
Horace Leung's incredible run to the trophy started on hand 27 of the final table - littered with bad beats for and against nearly every player at some point - when he extracted 23 big blinds from Kristof Segers with Q♦ Q♣ against K♠ J♠ on the board K♦ Q♠ 7♠ T♦ 7♥ that put him in the shared lead with Yoda Lin at the time. He continued to chip up and got another major boost on hand 68 with K♠ Q♣ against Daniel Yang's Q♦ T♥ on a dream board Q♠ 4♠ 8♣ 7♠ Q♥ that saw him capture 42% of chips in play with 5 players remaining. From then on he was unstoppable, eliminating Daniel Yang in 4th with QJ against AQ hitting a flush, Kristof Segers in 3rd with A♦ T♦ against Q♠ Q♥ finding an ace from space on the river and putting the cherry on top by eliminating Chee Chen for the title with Q7 against KQ hitting a seven on the turn.
