Jie Zhang kicked off the action with a raise to 50,000 from under the gun, and Or Yaaqov Nezer called right behind him. When the action reached Suya Lee on the button, he jammed for 425,000. Takumi Monden, sitting in the small blind, peeked at his cards and instantly moved all in for around 1,200,000. Zhang didn’t hesitate—he snap-shoved his stack of nearly 1,300,000, prompting Nezer to fold with a calm, "I surrender."

The J♦ 6♥ 9♠ flop was bone-dry, leaving Lee with a slim chance at survival. The 4♥ on the turn sealed his fate, and only a king could save Monden. But the 5♣ river was clean for Zhang, who raked in the monster pot and sent both opponents to the rail!

Terry Gonzaga raised to 40,000 from the hijack. He was called by Takumi Monden in the small blind, and van Govorov out of the big blind.

Three players were treated to a flop of 5♣ 8♦ T♠ , which they all checked to see the J♦ on the turn. The action checked again to show a 9♦ land on the river. Monden then led out for 70,000, causing Govorov to step aside, while Gonzaga made the call.

Monden showed Q♠ T♣ for top pair on the flop that became a straight by the river. Gonzaga couldn't do anything but muck his hand.

Takumi Monden shoved all in for 154,000 on the button and Ivan Govorov also moved all in from the small blind for around 1,235,000.

Govorov dominated the lead with pocket queens, but soon the dealer sent the bad news as a flop came down J♦ 3♠ A♦ , improving Monden to top pair of aces. The clean runout rolled off K♥ 4♦ , securing Monden a much-needed double up.

Ivan Govorov just claimed a sizable pot, though not without a few nerves along the way.

The action was picked up on the turn with roughly 250,000 in the middle on a Q♦ 8♦ T♠ Q♠ board. Govorov, in the cutoff, fired out 115,000, and Takumi Monden called from the button.

The 2♠ landed on the river, and with about 260,000 behind, Govorov used both hands to push forward a bet of 235,000. However, as he moved his chips forward, his trembling hands sent his stacks tumbling into the pot, prompting the dealer and floor staff to quickly restack them.

Monden remained silent throughout the commotion, and once the bet size was confirmed, he tossed in a call.

Govorov then revealed 9♠ 6♠ for a flush, and Monden quietly mucked as Govorov raked in the pot.
