Taiwanese poker player Hua Wei Lin is one-half of the WinPokerCouple with Nevan Chang and quite the pro herself. Her total live earnings speak for itself—she’s won USD 380,681 from over 200 events and continues to prove herself a prolific player. 

Lin is a regular in her native Taiwan, making occasional appearances in Korea, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Active since 2021, Lin made her biggest cash in September of 2023 when she placed third in the APT High-Roller 8 Max Event #64 at APT Incheon, bagging KRW 81,650,000 (USD 61,981). 

Previously, Lin’s biggest win occurred in April of that year when she placed first in the Singapore Poker League Main Event in Taipei City, cashing NTD 509,000 (USD 16,708). 

Since then, Lin has enjoyed many first-place runs, most notably in the Ladies Event at USOP Da Nang in November 2023 (winning VND 69,200,000 or USD 2,859), the Samurai Warm-Up Event at AJPC Samurai Circuit Taiwan in April 2024 (winning NTD 230,000 or USD 6,787), and the Ladies Event in the same tournament (winning NTD 49,100 or USD 1,524). 

Lin returned to Korea for a deep run at APT Jeju, cashing KRW 10,019,000 (USD 7,279). Her latest stint was at the 2024 GPI Asia Poker Festival and Award Ceremony in Taipei City, where she earned a total of NTD 70,400 (USD 2,179).
